Im having conversations between the GP, the

Day 4 and still going strong, not even tempted to go back.
It's really not even bothering me that I've quit. The first time i tried it was absolutely horrible. But i made it 7 months. Maybe it's easier this time because i know now what to expect? I know it gets easier and that i won't always be consumed by cravings. But also I'm in so much pain which makes it

How were most of you diagnosed? Wondering how it is confirmed with such unreliable tests
With the antibody test being so unreliable. How is Pernicios anemia usually diagnosed? Is it usually an endoscope? Wondering how they can absolutely confirm it with such unreliable tests? Thank you!

Update re ERCP
I rang the
endoscopy
unit at St James & was told to take him back in a taxi. By the time the taxi arrived he was doubled over in pain & said he couldn't stand the thought of over an hours journey so we went to our local A & E. I have left him hooked up to a morphine drip & vomiting green bile.

Omeprazole and hypo symptoms
I ended up going for an
endoscopy
and they diagnosed Oesophagitis and hiatus hernia. I take two x 20 omeprazoles a day but recently I’ve been experiencing heart palpitations and symptoms of hypo. I got a blood test and the results show my TSH is 4.8.

Told it is not GCA
She already has me going for
endoscopy
for my swallowing and other esophageal symptoms... he said my jaw should not hurt unless I am chewing. Well it aches or hurts a lot when not chewing. I have an appt this Friday so I will see what she has to say.... I am so weary of this.

Intestine resection surgery
Recently I had an
endoscopy
and a colonoscopy. There were no signs of Crohn’s or colitis. Still I have symptoms of Crohn’s. Because of the shorting of the intestinal tract I have persistent diarrhea. Imodium AD helps with diarrhea.

He ordered an
endoscopy
which revealed that I had SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), which notoriously causes B12 absorption issues.

Small Update about Blood Tests
But can someone tell me if there is any other way of detecting varices instead
endoscopy
? He just doesn't want to go through that! And CT Scan, they inject dye which is not good for his already weak kidney.

Hi everybody! A few words and questions
I was first admitted to Oldham Royal, where I very soon got transferred to ICU with severe bleeding (found to be from oesophageal varices via an
endoscopy
), severe hepatic encephalopathy and jaundice. I had very bad ascites and severe retention in my ankles and face, too.
