I would like to start self injections.
After having an upper
endoscopy
, with multiple biopsies done. I now know that I have pernicious anemia. I have completed the loading doses, one shot weekly for 6 weeks and my doctor wants me to now have monthly injections for the rest of my life.

Laryngoscopy and scared
A thyroid scan and
endoscopy
earlier in the year showed no cancer, but what if it's developed? According to the letter I will receive (seen an online version of it) it says nothing about general anaesthetic or not eating for several hours. So I assume its a tube down throat procedure.

Iron deficiency anemia
Colonoscopy and
endoscopy
came out clear and really clean so we attributed it to iron deficiency. Currently iron is at 20 compared to a range of 50-175 and ferritin is at 3 compared to a range of 8-388. I changed my diet to include lots of spinach, broccolu, etc and started an iron supplement.

Probably for an
endoscopy
😥 which I hate. I've had 2 before. I am due to start IVF next year and now I've got this to worry about and it might put all my IVF on hold. I think it's all Endo related as it's got worse since end of August and my periods have been pretty bad since then.

How to replace B12 after anesthesia?
I am scheduled for an
Endoscopy
and I am so frightened of the anesthesia to be used and won't be told which until the morning of. I have had "ether" and "nitrous" in the past during other procedures involving bad reactions and usually requiring blood transfusions afterwards.

Could it still be B12/PA??
Tomorrow I have an
endoscopy
as the suggestion is auto immune gastric atrophy. In short might it still mean I can have B12 injections ? as I have many neurological symptoms, family history, thyroid problems etc... even though levels are normal??? Help needed in this minefield of the unknown!!!

Sitting here in a waiting room at Kings College Hospital waiting for my 3 yearly endoscopic examination for my Liver Cirrhosis and wondering if it will be a lucky or unlucky day. What is everyone doing on this day? Best of luck with what ever you are doing today

How long after rectovaginal excision do you stay in hospital?
I'm not sure if they will shave or if it will be a resection until I have a
endoscopy
? I was wondering how long anyone else had to stay in hospital after surgery?

I have done

Is a Hiatus hernia related to my systemic sclerosis?
Due to swallowing problems, heartburn and acid I had an
endoscopy
where they discovered a sliding hiatus hernia. Are these connected to the disease? Many thanks X

BIG thank you too all those who replied to my posts on my apprehension about gastroscopy and stress echo
I cannot praise the consultant and her
endoscopy
team enough. And lots of praise for the team in charge of the stress test. They were all wonderful, a credit to the NHS. (I sent letters to the CEO's to that effect).

NASH and NRH
I had an
endoscopy
done which also showed nothing. I then had a Fibroscan done. The results were scary to me. NASH, 12kPa, CAP 294, F 3-4, S>3. Went to a basic hepatology appointment where I had a lot of blood work done trying to find the source of my liver issues.

Duopa pump and my day at work
Today at work in the interventional radiology department, i had a patient that was a pwp. He was there to have a tube replacement for his duopa pump system. Good news
Need to have
endoscopy
to check for varices ,this fills me with more dread and fear than the liver biopsy ,but I understand the importance of knowing if I have varices .

Gastro problems
I have had an
endoscopy
done and colonoscopy which were normal, and my doctor is suspecting a motility issue and wants to do a smart pill test and esophageal manometry to check my motility. My question is,Can esophageal motility issues cause these symptoms?
