Petrified of long term damage from NAFLD
I spoke to Hepatology yesterday and the consultant said he needed to take bloods to check for scarring, and if they come back bad I will need an
endoscopy
which is my worst fear. He scared the life out of me saying the scarring is irreversible and could go on to become cancer!

Rectal bleeding but clear colonoscopies (internal hems)
When all of this started I had 2 colonoscopies and an
endoscopy
which only found internal hems. I had banding done which helped a little but around 2 months later the bleeding started again. The longest I have gone is a few months with nothing but recently it has been everyday.

Gallstones confirmed but I don’t have typical symptoms. Should I have gallbladder removed?
Blood work normal and
endoscopy
came back with mild irritation and redness in stomach and area connecting to intestine. I’m afraid removing gallbladder is too aggressive at this stage, given my symptoms don’t align with the normal issues. Clearly have stones though via ultrasound. Thoughts?

Kidneys I'm a bit concerned
I wrote saying that I was physically very weak, and very nauseous....then I learned that my blood sodium levels had taken a dip. I'd been put on a new blood pressure med Indapamide which is a diuretic, but used as a bp med at low doses. I don't have fluid retention and stopped this after 4 days because

I do have gastric acid reflux and am awaiting an
endoscopy
. The gastro didn't seem overly concerned and said the omeprazole I take can be affecting my ability to absorb iron, b12. But my mind is racing that I have something more going on. Anyone have a similar experience?.

High blood levels of B12
Hi everyone, Not new here but just a little background - I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency back in 2014, I managed to produce enough evidence to satisfy my GP that I could not manage on 2 - 3 monthly injections and so I am able (currently) to access enough B12 for my needs, but this could soon change

Non-motor symptom medication
Hello all! Curious to know if any of you out there have any experience with or knowledge of any particular non-motor symptom medication? After recently having a colonoscopy which came back negative and an endoscope that came back negative with a little bit of reflux, my gastroenterologist has surmised

Acid reflux and stomach pain: worried about zollinger-ellison
I've had these tests: - h pylori: negative - ultrasound: clear - MRI (private): negative -
endoscopy
: all clear - 24h pH monitoring: no results yet On the one hand I'm happy they haven't found anything wrong. On the other I feel like I need some more tests to exclude anything scary.

Cirrhosis and AATD
I haven’t had any alcohol since and am having blood tests every 6 months, as well as
endoscopy
once a year. So far, so good, maintaining elevated levels due to liver damage, but no progression, no varices. Because I was surprised at the the diagnosis, I requested a second opinion.

Anyone recognise these symptoms?
I am awaiting an
endoscopy
. One 1.4mm duodenal nodule was found but no uptake on the PET Scan so viewed as a coincidental finding. At current I have poor mobility due to odd sporadic leg pains that follow no pattern but are bilateral in the calf muscles with muscle atrophy in both calves.
