I think I would take the advice, If that doesn't work out you can consider other options. CT scans can definitely be eye opening about what is going on. To be honest, I have been set on a couple of wild goose chases with scans and more tests but in the end I am still glad I went with the doctors advice.Good luck!
Hi there - really sorry to hear about your father, however as already said you should take the doctor's advice. This is a great group for providing support but in no way is it a substitute for professional medical advice. Good luck and I hope your father gets the care he needs and starts to recover soon.

As our forum members have suggested - please follow medical advice and arrange for hospital admission in order to reach a diagnosis and for any treatment that may be required. In the current climate particularly, medical professionals would only recommend hospital admission if they felt there was a clinical need .
