Stomach ulcer symptoms, tests all clear. Could ppi mask something more serious?
I requested an
endoscopy
because the pain didn't go away the second time I started taking the pills. I stopped my ppi 10 days beforehand and
endoscopy
was completely clear. Nothing to be found. Not even irritation.

Night sweating and worried
MRIs, ct scans, colonoscopy,
endoscopy
, blood work is clean. Googling it came up with the C word. I called my doctor to get this checked immediately but it seems like they want to take their time. I'm ready to go to the ER. Please let me know if you had this experience. Thank you

Bit of an update and maybe some more advice
So following the
endoscopy
and colonoscopy after a suspected stomach bleed which showed no problems, I did decide to get a private ultrasound scan as I couldn't shake the thoughts of 25 years + 35units (or more) a week = pushing my luck! (even though I wasn't showing any obvious symptoms)!

PA and hiatal hernia
I was overdue for a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
was advised since I would already be prepped. She did see a hiatal hernia which I was pretty sure I had but she also said I did have acid production in my stomach.

Liver Cysts
He is sending me for CT scan and
Endoscopy
and having bloods done. So now I am beginning to freak out a bit. He said that Ultrasounds are not that good at picking up stuff clearly like types of cysts or pancreas hence the CT scan.

Recently diagnosed
It was found on my 3 yearly
endoscopy
which was 10 months late due to COVID. To say I’m devastated is an understatement.

Hi, I'm currently back on Levo (75mcg) as I ran out of That NDT last year and apparently it's now unavailable. I don't have my most recent blood results, and we recently moved from the Hebrides to West Yorkshire so I've changed GPs. Obviously, it's difficult to see anyone at the moment anyway. I suspect

Feeling Anxious
I'm scheduled for a first ever
endoscopy
and I'm worried how I will cope with tubes down my throat. Any advice on how to prepare and handle myself so I don't panic.

I’ve had persistent heartburn, acid reflux/GERD related symptoms for 3 weeks? What should I do?
doctor (only on the phone), done blood tests which came back normal, done 2 stool tests (which showed a little bit of possible inflammation of the bowels + a little bit of microscopic blood slightly above the normal rate) so I've been sent to do a colonoscopy, but to me it seems more critical that an

Pernicious anemia diagnosed. B12 Injections started. Gastric cancer / issues probability (In the USA)
I am still planning for GI evaluation and
endoscopy
soon. 5. Reading through internet, I see the incidence of Gastric cancer for PA as Pre-Malignant condition. When I checked the forum, I do not see much / anyone with PA and suffering from Gastric cancer. Please advice. 6.

Had my endoscopy and they couldn’t find anything 🤔
Hi everyone, I wrote my first post a few weeks ago telling about this awful burning pain under my left rib.I assumed gastritis or an ulcer yet the
endoscopy
hasn’t picked up on anything apart from a polyp. The doctor said this wasn’t serious but seemed to think it was caused by omeprazole. So now I am

Is this a ibs flare up?
I had pylori which was treated in September and a
endoscopy
to confirm all was ok. But how long does the after effects last and could the bug have caused ibs? Does anyone else suffer this?

Gastritis
I have been experiencing stomach pains for some months, had upper
endoscopy
and the doctor said everything is normal. I experience upper abdomen and lower right abdomen pain which radiates to the back and right leg. Sometimes it feels like nerve pain and it's irritating.

Waiting over 12 months for procedures, how can I escalate this?
After going back and forth to the GP and various consultants for about 4 years I finally got a diagnosis and referred to have a laparoscopy,
endoscopy
and possible oophorectomy. This was over 12 months ago!

Advice please on Thyroid Blood Test Results
I’ve had tests for coeliac disease, internal bleeding (
endoscopy
, colonoscopy and capsule camera), ovarian and bowel cancer, Cushing’s disease and all are fine apart from having diverticular disease. GP has refused to test my T3 and T4 as my TSH was 2.76 (range 0.27-4.2).
