Liver function test

Hi I am awaiting an appt for Capsule Endoscopy due to high calprotectin in my stool of 749, the previous one being 325, last result was in March so could be higher now.

I had a blood test in November which came back that my liver function was not right and a repeat was needed, that now has come back as borderline, slightly elevated, so surely with two that were not right would have warranted an appt with Dr but no, nothing and as I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago, outdated there be a connection.

Should I contact my Dr.

Drs are generally not to worried about slightly elevated liver enzymes, they usually need to be in the 1000s and over a length of time before alarm bells ring.My lfts have been high and very high for over 10 years and despite all investigations no cause has been found. Medications can often affect results which is possibly my issue.

Just make sure you keep an eye of your levels but if only slightly over I wouldn't worry to much.
