So many symptoms, don't feel good and I am scared..
I have over the last couple of weeks been feeling so lousy, have gone from nausea , awful gerd ( i have a history of this) to upper abdominal discomfort and some diarrhea. Eating is not fun right now. My dr finally sent me for a CT scan and it came back ok except for some mild thickening of bowel wall

Chronic Cryptogenic Cirrhosis at age 27
Hi All, I've been lurking since getting my diagnosis of cirrhosis in July last year and I wanted to share my story. For some backstory, I had abdominal pain and a distended abdomen for several weeks which I just saw as me putting on weight due to the lockdown. So I started to make improvements to my

Hello . My endoscopy in June 2020 showed chronic gastritis, bile and hiatus hernia, my biopsy showed intestinal metaplasia . I was told that they do not follow up with repeat scopes as I do not have a family history of gastric cancers . My gp wrote to him to tell them how worried I was because of the

Feeling of lump in the throat
One thing I wanted to ask as i don't get any heartburn or food coming up after eating why do I get the feeling of something stuck in the throat or pain cross the chest? These symptoms alternate and come and go throughout the day Is that also acid reflux? If so whats the science behind this? I had endoscopy

Blood tests
Hi folks. I was diagnosed coeliac about 5 years ago, following blood tests and endoscopy. I need to get some bloods done. What bloods should I ask for to check I am managing my diet well? I think it is IgA, and tTG? Next question is what should the results look like if I’m managing it well? I have no

Stomach Pain, new here...
Hi, been watching this forum and would be great if anyone can shed some light on my issue..... I have had a dull stomach ache, middle, for over two months now. I have had an endoscopy, a ct scan with contrast, and neither had any issues. The consultant has said in a letter, no further tests required!

Pain under ribs on the right side.
Hi I'm new here and wanted to ask if anyone has ever been the the same thing. It felt like an ulcer at first. I've had it for over a month. I had my gallbladder taken out over a year ago. A gastroenterologist did an endoscopy and said I had gastritis and an inflamed colon but said nothing about what

Dear all I have cirrhosis- non alcohol related. Two years ago I developed bleeding varices, but when they did an endoscopy, they had stopped bleeding so no further action was taken. About 6-8 weeks ago, I developed ascites. I did not recognise it at first, I think I will if it happens again. I was

What to expect with an ERCP?
I had my gallbladder removed in November of last year but sadly my symptoms didn't improve at all. A recent endoscopic ultrasound confirmed a stone remains in my bile duct and this is to be removed by ERCP. I've not been able to find much online to explain what happens during the procedure, whether

My IBS symptoms- anyone similar?
I made some notes about what I’ve been experiencing this past year. In addition to what’s below I should add I never really have any pain and currently my main symptom is terrible, foul gas pretty much everyday which is embarrassing and uncomfortable. Dr suggests an endoscopy next so I’ll be scheduling

How long for colon cancer to develop?
I’m 60... had a colonoscopy 14 years ago. No polyps, normal colon except for internal hemorrhoids. 4 years ago had endoscopy for food stuck in throat. Esophagus, stomach and duodenum all examined after food removed and “no abnormalities were seen” other than irritation in esophagus from stuck food. Now
