CT Scan of abdoman stressed
Hi All, I have been very stressed out lately and was wondering if anyone has ever had this diagnosis or something similar and what was your outcome? About a month ago I ended up in the ER. I had been dealing with stomach pain for weeks. The Dr was pretty considerate and ordered a CT of my abdoman along

Can b12 be administered together with proton pump inhibitors?
I have been treated for years now for stomach ulcer without good relief. Two years ago, I underwent endoscopy test. The results showed some healed ulcer and some erosion which resulted to inflammation. The doctor said I had gastritis. He bombarded my system with antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors

Stomach Ulcer
Has anyone else had continued pain similar to that of an ulcer after taking PPI for a month (post H Pylori treatment)?? I am still struggling and rather worried that an ulcer is still there (that is of course if I had one in the first instance) .... still begging for an endoscopy🙄

Gastric source of angina symptoms
In my quest to get to the bottom of my angina type symptoms I have recently had a stent implanted in my LAD but the symptoms persist. - Mild burning sensation in chest after a few minutes of walking outdoors. (if I walk indoors I have no such problem - it seems to be temperature related?) If I pause

endoscopy
Hi all I was diagnosed a while ago with “possible borderline cirrhosis” through an ultrasound, blood tests and a fibroscan score of 20. The bloods are all normal and the consultant just says it’s hard to tell if I definitely have cirrhosis or not. My question is, I keep reading here that people are

on going heartburn with esophagitis
I have had an endoscopy that found chronic eosphogstis. I have tried three PPIs ie omeprozole, lanzopropal and the one something like esomprozole. Other than watching what you eat and drink , have you found any natural solutions like peppermint oil or the like. Tried ginger, slippery elm but no relief

IBS Colitis or what?
About a month ago I starting having a lot of cramping, loose stools, attributed it to my long standing IBS. I go for colonoscopies every 2 years after finding a cancerous small polyp (removed and resectioned with clips at Mayo, great hospital and doctors), and have had no problems in the past several

High Platelet Diagnosis Update….
I just thought I’d give an update after my latest phone call today with my Haematologist incase my info is helpful to anyone else going through similar…. A quick recap….nearly 2 years ago it was found I had a higher than normal platelet count (high 500’s) during a routine blood test. As this didn’t

Stent not relieving angina symptoms - so far
Last year I began to get mild burning in my chest and back when walking. So angina was suspected. I was put onto aspirin, statin, bisoprolol and ranolazine and they seemed to greatly reduce the problem. I had a heart scan which detected a significant blockage in my LAD. So
last week
I got a stent

Endoscopy surprise
I had my surveillance endoscopy today. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis in March 21. I was seriously ill with a deep rooted infection which had tipped my liver into acute on chronic liver failure. They diagnosed cirrhosis and advised me to change my lifestyle or I wouldn’t be around much longer…and very

He put me onto esmoprozale for a month and it cleared up. It came back then I'm February, took tablets again for a few weeks and it went away. Then about
