Is stomach pain common with IBS?If so, where do you feel the pain?
I feel pain right in the center pit of my stomach... sometimes gnawing sensation, sometimes a cramping sensation
Do you feel it there in the center pit of your stomach too?

Hi, mine typically is in the centre, lower part of my stomach. Normally a very dull pain which I suspect is down to when I am constipated. Otherwise it's the dreaded diarrhea and then the pain can be everywhere!
So many different pain zones for IBS for me. Plus they will move around also. Get checked for ulcers also. Well worth a trip to a good Dr to rule out everything else
Hi Catsandsunsets,Yes I also have pain with my IBS and very severe that I had to get Morphine injections. It's always my lower stomach and can be either side or in the middle + I sometimes have lower backache.
I'm fed up with Gp's not taking my IBS seriously, they don't know and don't want to know how painful it affects us.
Mine is usually near the lower belly. I get really bad cramps sometimes.
