Round 2 Ventilator because of pneumonia in the ICUhttps://healthunlocked.com/
He was given an
echocardiogram
which came back saying his heart was only working 20-25%. He was sedated and on the ventilator for 6-7 days and they tried to wean him off several times. On the 6th or 7th day he was able to breathe with a mask.

Partially diagnosed; glad to have found this site!
Going for
echocardiogram
and a repeat of spirometry test in mid January. I am a former smoker, never a pack a day, but over many years. I quit several months before becoming aware of oxygen desaturation.

A bit spooky - Did I always know?
Well, after those tests he sent me for an
echocardiogram
because one of the tests to do with the heart wasn't perfect and a heart murmur that Id always known about but didn't seem to be on their records. So now I find myself at Kings this week after being referred by a cardiologist.

Afib or not afib
Ideally I'd love an
echocardiogram
or something just to be able to put it all to bed it's the not knowing that drives me crazy

Question
I was told by primary doctor that I have Paroxysmal AFib. One visit he heard it and one he didn't. I had EKG done at Cardiologist office and it was fine. I have been in ER quite a few times during the 2 months this has gone on. All ER EKG'S are negative. I did have pulse jumping around one visit my sister

Thyroid issues
Had
echocardiogram
, ct scan, ultrasound of abdomen, and every blood test they could think of. Next day, I was sent home with the diagnosis of we don’t know what’s wrong with you. They gave me albuterin for breathing. Turns out I’m allergic to it I got worse.

Sad but I have to run.....
I have had blood tests and if needed ecg and
echocardiogram
to rule out sudden cardiac death syndromes. But I cannot live my life on hold. I need to run for my own health, fitness and mental health. I have decided that I will run until I am told otherwise.

Big one today 😳
W5R3 and a
echocardiogram
to think about 😳 weather bit iffy too ( I’ve been lucky enough to only run in light drizzle or fine weather so far) Not sure whether to go before scan or after but want to do this run so much as it seems like the one that represents the real progression.

My GP refused to give me referral to cardiologist
I had an
echocardiogram
done and the cardiologist report states there is mild regurgitation in 3 valves. The report says that's normal for my age, and the GP agreed with the report. From reading your posts, a b12 deficiency can also create heart problems.(Cardiomyopathy).

Quit 7 months ago
I have had a EKG, Chest XRay, Blood work, Pulmonary test,
Echocardiogram
, all came back normal. I don’t understand why my breath is so short. No signs of any diseases and not feeling anxiety at all. I’m 49 yes old smoked a pack a day for over 30 years.

I am having health anxiety but that came after physical symptoms
I’ve had an
echocardiogram
and 3 ekg’s. I’ve also had blood test due to several emergency room visits. I’ve seen a cardiologist, neurologist, rheumatologist, and I’m seeing my primary soon. What makes me most nervous is that my chest pain can be accompanied by arm pain which never really goes away.

Recently diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis.
In the following weeks, I had a 48 hour Holter Monitor and an
echocardiogram
which came back normal, although I still experience palpitations on a daily basis. I have also had a chest X-ray which came back normal.

Pvcs
All my blood work has been normal, ekgs normal ( 3 of them) and an
echocardiogram
. Normal. I wore a holter monitor for 24 hours. I got the results and it was abnormal. There was a 9 beat run of pvcs. My dr didn't seem overly concerned but I have another cardiologist appointment in a month.
