Echocardiogram
Good mornong all.I have an echo scan today. I was wondering what does it actually show? I know its performed like a baby ultrasound and shows the heart. But, can it show blood flow, blockages, enlargements or other abnormalities. Would it also show EF? If there was something bad would you be told there

Echocardiogram
Hi all new to the group :) just a general question why would I be sent for a follow-up
echocardiogram
when I haven't long had one. 🤔 It will be 3 weeks tomorrow I had one but still haven't had my results 🤔 are they still surposed to let you know results even if everything is normal ?

Echocardiogram
Hello, My 24yr old son is waiting to get results of echo that he had done privately last Friday. He self referred as he isnt getting answers via NHS . They will email the report to him and his GP, does anyone know if the report comments on whether the Echo is normal , or does it just state a lot of measurements

Transthoracic echocardiogram
I had a letter earlier inviting me to have an
echocardiogram
in mid July. I've had one before back in 2019 but It just occured to me. Can it see how well the heart pumps blood? Is this called ejection fraction? And should I ask what mine is?

Echocardiogram results
hi I had a
echocardiogram
in February this year and I finally got a letter on Wednesday. According to the letter it say there is mild ventricular hypertroyhy, preserved right ventricular function and no obvious significant valvular abnormality.

Echocardiogram results
I had an
Echocardiogram
on 17 January as I have mitral valve problem, previously moderate, and still not had the results. I chased earlier last month and was told reports were taking up to 8 weeks, it’s now 10 weeks. Is this normal now? I am in Worcester and feeling quite stressed about it.

Echocardiogram diagnosis.
Two weeks ago I had a routine biannual
echocardiogram
. In the last one which was done becauase I had been diagnosed with a left bundle branch block. It showed I had a mildly impaired ejection fraction.

steroid injection and echocardiogram booked for the same day
Then this morning hospital called me and said they have an
echocardiogram
app. on the same day. The
echocardiogram
is at 8.00am and then my steroid injection is at 1.30pm. Will it be ok to have them both done on the same day. Thanks

Echocardiogram frequency
Just checking for my husband who doesn't do online stuff. He has heart failure (35%EF) LV. He has had all his meds titrated and is relatively stable but fatigue is increasing. He doesn't have a cardiac nurse anymore and I wondered if it was usual to be in the system for regular (annual??) echos or you

Rate controlled AF with enlarged left venticle but good EF
I have recently had an
echocardiogram
, it shows I have a severely dilated left ventricle with good EF. I am overweight and in permanent AF rate controlled. Anyone else have something similar and if so have you had feedback from a cardiologist

Dobutamine Stress Test Echocardiogram
Hi.I am due to have the above test in a week and I was wondering if it will leave me feeling exhausted as ive got work the following day. Im not looking forward to it to be honest the idea of having my heart artificially sped up is a worry to me.

heart position
hi, I had an
echocardiogram
today (I’ve had them before) but this time I was told my heart was shifted to the right a little? I think she said median? No-one has mentioned before? I am due an angiogram in a couple of months. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks
