Have just come back from seeing the cardiologist for the first time in 5 years. Then, after wearing a 24 hour monitor it was - you have paroxysmal AFib take these pills.

Now, it’s an echocardiogram, a change of beta blocker, a 72 hour monitor and a visit to an EP with a view to an ablation.

Just come as a bit of a surprise Bob. Have meandered along for the last 5 years left to my own devices and now it’s all come at once.

Don't knock it. Just because you have been poorly served in the past doen't mean it will always be like that.

I’ve had an under active Thyroid for many years. Guess that is a bit like the chicken and the egg with Afib. Have just asked to see an endo and my GP refused point blank!!
