BRUGADA PATTERN VS BRUGADA SYNDROME
The doctor did an
echocardiogram
,but I also had a 7 day heart rate monitor , a 24 hour blood presure monitor fitted , blood tests and x-ray ,all normal . Don't really know much about family history, but my grandmother died in her 50's , not sure of what and I am 54. So quite worried.

Ablation offer withdrawn
A few weeks ago, I had a further phone assessment, at my request, where it was pointed out that “all ablations have risks” and that my last
echocardiogram
showed the left atrium size was normal (earlier it was enlarged). I will have another
echocardiogram
to confirm this.

How can I make my telephone appointment really effective?
I’ve had an
echocardiogram
and a CT scan, but the people there were purely technical. Kind and caring, but not doctors. My GP worked hard to get letters with the results of the tests - they turned up recently, but she’s had no luck in talking to anyone or getting replies from emails.

Health anxiety, struggling today
My EKG results came back abnormal and I have to have an
echocardiogram
on 6/18. My chest tightness, which I have daily, has been causing me a lot of anxiety today. It is no different than any other day but I am really overthinking it and none of my typical coping skills are working.

How Long Does It Take For ‘Moderately Enlarged Left Atrium’ To Revert Back To Size?
Hi there, An
echocardiogram
showed I have a moderately enlarged left atrium that is causing my 24*7 AF. I am on amiodorone 200mg daily and no longer in AF; I feel great! Ive made lifestyle adjustments - 90% less alcohol, no endurance exercise, decaf coffee only and more sensible food choices.

Worst episode ever, waiting for answers
I then had a
echocardiogram
done, which I am hoping to have the results of tomorrow, and last week I had my 72 hour ECG. Just a little story of where I am with everything :) Today however, I had possibly one of my worst episodes to date.

Aortic Valve Repair
Hi was told a few days ago after an
echocardiogram
that I have a narrowing in the valve and I have to have an angiogram ( I have had one before in 2008. Got a letter telling me this and that there is a possibility I will need a replacement. My head is all over the place.

Aortic Valve Regurgitation
Today (21st May) my 4 year old son was diagnosed with Aortic Valve Regurgitation (leaky valve) after an
echocardiogram
to look into a heart murmur we didn’t know he had.

need help understanding my echocardiogram results?
I had an echo back in February and just got a letter with results Letter states "this is largely reassuring with an EF of 60-65%, trivial MR, very mild AR, and normal LV size and function. There is trivial PR and trivial TR and normal LV wall thickness" I'm assuming this is mostly good? My next test

Ectopic beats
My ECG and blood tests were all normal and the
echocardiogram
also showed normal heart structure. The 24 hour holster recorded just over 10,000 ectopics in the 24 hrs so 10% the cardiologist said.

Doc doesn't want to prescribe beta blocker
He has been to a cardiologist who gave him an
echocardiogram
(no stress test) and then sent him on his way.

Heart palpitations!!
Echocardiogram
was normal. Wore a holter monitor which showed pvcs. Is anyone dealing with this on a regular basis? How do you ignore it? I change positions and my heart skips a beat. My anxiety is making it worse. Ugh!!!

TOE clear!
Just come back from hospital after having a TOE (Trans-Oesophoegeal
Echocardiogram
) and the "mass" they found was benign. Not a clot as suspected from first echo. A small "artefact" of tissue - not causing any issues. All else fine too, structurally heart in good condition.

sinus tachycardia
including puffy fingers/feet/ankles and an uncomfortable bloated tummy (definitely not pregnant). there is also a pretty extensive family history of heart attacks. i am happy to supply more information about the symptoms as well as what has been discounted so far in terms of diagnosis if it helps. i had an
