Timing of progesterone
Hi all - silly question alert. When do people usually start progesterone supplements for a medicated FET? i.e. do you always start in the evening and then transfer in the morning 5 days later or do some people start in the morning? This is without an ERA and for a 5 day blast. I had a scan yesterday

Ent told me I have an infection. What does that mean for my tinnitus?
Went to an Ent a few hours ago. He told me I have some sort of infection and prescribed antibiotics. I went to him for the first time 5 days ago right when my tinnitus started and asked him if that is the cause but he didn't really eplain. Will the tinnitus subside once the infection is cleared?

Intermittent weird dull and occasional shooting pain behind ear
Hello all! Quick question, I’m on watch and wait for a 17mm AN, which other than causing deafness and screaming tinnitus, isn’t impacting too badly…. But I’ve been getting an intermittent pain in the boney skull bit behind the ear on AN side only … I thought it may be from the hearing aid (which of course

Hey there . This is my first post here mainly because I first started experiencing tinnitus 5 days ago and haven't really had much time to scour the internet for differents forums. I just woke up with it one morning and it hasn't stopped since. I went to an ENT to get it checked out and he is still

Hopeful but disappointed
I thought I would share the appointment I had on Friday. I was thinking there and then that it would be sorted but no. I went in to see an audiologist of some sort and then all he did was syringe which helped as I have small ear canals and he also said about to just carry on with therapy which I have

Cranial osteopath said ears quite red and that I had an infection. She sent a letter to my gp who gave me a very small spray bottle. I’ve used it fir 3 days

Acupuncture Mats
Hi all, Since my bypass I have had a lot of lingering upper-body aches and pains as well as a recent bout of sciatica which has been uncomfortable to say the least. I have been considering getting an acupuncture mat and pillow to hopefully relieve some of the pain. Has anyone here tried one before

Relief and Quiet
I just wanted to update you with my progress. The T has been easing off gradually since the summer of this year. I have had a few bouts of days where it was there (not severe) but overall, all positive and mainly it is really hardly noticeable if at all. I really think that keeping a positive frame

Could my tinnitus be connected to a tooth problem?
Hi everyone I have had tinnitus for many years and it hasn't really bothered me too much as I only generally hear it if I'm sat in silence. But recently it has gotten louder and is much more noticeable. Then just this week my normally very high pitched ring has started to sync with my heart beat like

New here & looking for advice :)
Hi everyone, I am new here and have been reading through some of the posts and feel so happy to have found this website and forum! Everyone is so helpful to each other, it's lovely. I was diagnosed with 'borderline' hypothyroid in 2014 but the Doctor at the time brushed it off as if it was nothing so

Embryo made it to blasto on day, but too early to grade!
Hello, I went in to have my fresh transfer today (3rd round of IVF) and felt optimistic as had 16 eggs collected, 12 mature, 8 fertilised, then 5 still going on day 3, but then the embryologist said we have one blasto, but it's too early to grade it! Two others might go to blasto tomorrow. The news took

Understanding your blood test
Hi all, Happy New Year etc! I have finally managed to translate my blood test results and for anyone else out there who is also bemused, I am attaching a guide to help you understand the basics. Ranges are often slightly different, or expressed differently in different countries or even clinics but really

Addenbrooke's - AN or not? That is the question.
After a sudden deterioration in my hearing I was referred to Addenbrooke's. They did a thorough hearing test after which I had an appointment with the consultant who referred me for an MRI. This was done on October 31st but I have not been told the result. However, yesterday I received an appointment

COVID made it worse!
Hi Everyone, This is my first post. I’ve had a continuous single tone tinnitus in what feels like both ears for as long as I can remember, I believe caused by bad ear infections as a kid. I’ve never had is officially diagnosed but just learnt to live with it. Despite being double vaccinated, I contracted

I've just joined last week and am having a hard day today, since my accident 2 weeks ago I've had loud tinnitus, it's so distressing. I had a couple of quiet days but woke up with it screaming again. I've received great advice on here and am so happy I'm not alone. I've had tinnitus for 6 years but
