Acupuncture should have been done prior to transfer and just after. Depending where you are post transfer not sure if it’s worth it but if you’re only one day post then it might be worth trying

Hey, I did acupuncture weekly before my transfer and one on the transfer day. If you get a BFP it might be worth to go for it for the first 3 months. Best pf luck x

Heya, sorry to butt in - I’ve just made my first acupuncture appointment, how many weeks do you reckon we should go with the acupuncture sessions before trying our next FET? (Sorry, I know it’s a tough question so no worries if you don’t have a clear answer ) x

Heyy, I think it all depends on your life style and diet as well and your acupuncturist should have a consultation before you start. When My first cycle failed in March, I started acupuncture in April and carried on until Aug when I finished my second fresh cycle. I had 3 frozen embryos this time. I then went back for it when i started my frozen cycle so I had two sessions before and one on the transfer day. I think as long as you find a reputable fertility acupuncturist you’ll be fine as they will tell you how many sessions are beneficial. Xx

Ok great, thanks. That’s helpful. Yes absolutely, we have a consultation booked before the first appointment and will see what she says :) xx

It can help promote relaxation and relieve stress- it can be performed during the lead-up to IVF and immediately before & after embryo transfer, at times when your body will benefit the most to being stress free & relaxedGood luck

I’m already on day 4 so I think it’s to late right?

Hello, they say the success rates increases by 60 % if done on the day of transfer. If you are 4 days late I don’t think there is much evidence but I would check with your Accupunturist to see if there any evidence after 4 days. But I’m sure it will be with relaxation and overall benefit. Wish you good luck xx
