What's your experience of coming of steroids
So I have my rheumatology appointment next week so hopefully will get a better understanding of what's going on. In the meantime I am on mycophenalate and a weaning dose of prednisolone for eye inflammation, started with 800mg in December and am now on 2.5mg before stopping in 2 months time. However

Hi, I want som advice from the community. What do you do for pain? My neph said Tylenol only, which does nothing, and NO NSAIDS. I have sciatica, occipital neuralgia, and upper back pain, and some arthritis. I went to a Stretch Lab, thinking that might help. I use heat, and use my TENS. Everything

Barking!
Hello all, I’m a nearly 73yr old woman and I’m going mad. I have had tinnitus as long as I can remember, also suffer with hypercusis (not sure of spelling). We have a ten month old border collie pup who is incredibly vocal. I find his bark extremely painful and was wondering if noise cancelling headphones

hello
I have recently been diagnosed as suffering ( and I’m really suffering) from Tinnitus. The constant high pitch is unbearable at time. I am due to go on holiday next Monty and I am getting very anxious about spending 5 hours on a plane with the noise levels possibly making the “ ringing” a lot worse.

I have recently been diagnosed with AF after suffering palpitations and unexplained fluttering in my throat since 2016. I have been treated for a number of years for hypertension. I’ve been prescribed Adizem (after a trial of Bisoprolol made me feel zombie-like) and Edoxaban and being reviewed in a couple

Ectopic and 2 failed IVF
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting. I haven't seen many posts that are similar to my story, so I thought I'd share in the hope of helping someone out there. In Dec 2020 I discovered I was pregnant, just before my 37 birthday. At 6 weeks it was discovered it was ectopic and I had a fallopian

FND Symptoms
Hi! I’ve recently been diagnosed with FND by a neurologist and I would be really interested to know if anyone on this forum can relate to my symptoms. I realise that almost any neuro symptom can be attributed to FND, but would be keen to see whether mine match up with anyone else’s. me: Male, 40s

sensitive: A story of hope
I didn’t want to use this forum and run and soo many positive stories gave me hope through out 5 years TTC. what animal are you?
What animal are you? I recently posted about acupuncture and likened myself to treacle in a world of blue arsed flies! I thought about this and now have a better metaphor about me being slow in a fast moving environment. I’m now like a two toed sloth. See photo. Moving carefully and slowly through

two years ago, where does the time go? I posted about trying out acupuncture, particularly to improve proprioception. I didn’t have it for long before I realised the benefits were transitory and slight. I came to the conclusion that rather than increasing proprioception I would do better to damp it down

Update
After my last post, just updating to say I saw the private ENT consultant on Friday. Appointment......The first thing that blew me away at the appointment was that somebody was actually listening to me and asking me questions instead of staring at me like I'm an idiot like the last 2 GPs have done

Dry-Needling and Low Level Laser Therapy By Physios: Does this really work and can it worsen tinnitus?
I triggered tinnitus and hyperacusis over 7 years ago now. Luckily it always went eventually but as of about 4 months ago it seems as if it is here to stay and a lot worse. An otologist told me that areas I said gave me pain could be consistent with TMJ issues and that he worked with a physio who could
