During this 'heatwave' in the UK my Tinnitus suddenly got a louder. I have visited two audiologists in the past one with very surprising

OHSS & cancelled fresh egg transfer
Hi all, This is my first cycle of IVF and all has gone swimmingly well until yesterday. I had 32 follicles drained last Friday (16th), 19 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilised and 9 beautiful high grade eggs now in the freezer which I am super thankful for and appreciate how lucky I am to have this many stored

Beta Alanine: STOPS or STARTS itch?
Considering trying Beta Alanine to stop my PV itch, but every time I Google what makes it STOP itch (i.e., how does it work?), all I come up with are articles that say it STARTS itch! Did anyone w/ PV, AP, etc. have their itch actually intensify by taking BA? Also curious if anyone happens to know

The last six months have been pretty brutal - several flare ups, mobility severely compromised at times,

PiP - Aids being 'prescribed'
This appears to be coming up a few times from reading previous posts regarding PiP claims. People who have bought their own aids to facilitate an easier existence are being told they cannot count as proof of either disability/change in disability, because they have not been 'prescribed' by the GP. Yet

Severe Endometrosis - Is surgery the answer to improve fertility or alternative therapies? NI
Hi all! I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2017 at 30. I had a 8cm cyst growing on my right ovary. The pain from this had been growing for months. At the time despite seeing numerous doctors not one suggested endo. This is despite me suffering from heavy periods, flooding and painful sex. It came

Help first timer
it’s been months now I have been suffering with fullness in my ear and the most annoying whooshing sound. Google tells me if it sounds like my heart beating to seek urgent medical advice. I have been to see ENT and they scoped my nasal cavity and I had a hearing test and pressure test done in audiology

Menieres disease making me ill or suppresses tsh
Re my last post, all indications are that I have menieres disease; dizzy, tinnitus, nausea, vomiting etc, but my gp can't understand why I'm so exhausted too and has suggested it's because of my suppressed tsh. I have had a blood test and will attach them (can't upload more than one so will put the rest

GCA and Ear Swelling, Pressure
Can GCA cause ear swelling ? I have GCA and constant ear pressure, soreness. My general practitioner couldn’t find any thing that would cause it, nor could an ear-nose-throat doctor. Even did a hearing test and all said everything is good. Would this be a flare? I’m on Actemra and 4 mg prednisone

sudden hearing loss
I woke up on 24 July this year with fullness and partial hearing in my right ear. Saw doc 4 days later who prescribed steroid tablets for 12 days. During that time I got a small improvement however when I stopped taking them the problems returned. I had spikes of high temperature so perhaps virus
