Ear infection

Hi everyone I post about my ear infection before you know. Still I have infection fluid in my ear. 2 weeks ago ENT community service did micro-suction in my ear I feel bit okay but again fluid coming and feel really uncomfortable . I went Gp last monday they put me again antibiotics co amoxiclav and ears drop as well but nothings change feel same block ear. I’m scared now. Fell like my T getting louder and different sound . what should I do any advice please. thank you.

If you have an infection it takes some days to heal. So you will feel uncomfortable while it heals. If you’re not feeling well then the tinnitus is more prominent. Give it time

thank you Rosie , my main problem is fluid, I feel really heavy and block ear also sometimes heard some sounds which is I never heard before.

I've had tinnitus for a little over a year and I've been getting ear infections every two to three months since then. I always feel like my tinnitus is worse when I'm sick and feel hugely relieved when I make it through it still having my hearing. I'm on the tail end of an infection at the moment and the spike in my tinnitus is subsiding. Hang in there. It will improve when you're feeling better. That full feeling in your ear is horrible. Do whatever you an to relax and distract yourself from it. I've found a series of YouTube videos to take my mind off it.

This full feeling can take quite awhile to clear. I have been on steroid spray for over 12 weeks and am just starting to feel things ease. Just takes time and patience.

thank you But main problem is dr said I have big hole in my ear. I’m just worried because of it.

Hello, I'd recommend trying two things:

1) Attend a Tinnitus Support Group in the area in which you live. If you're in the UK then here is a list: tinnitus.org.uk/support-for...

2) Tinnitus UK have a series of treatments listed on their website rated by 'Safety' and 'Efficacy'. Try some of the safe/non invasive treatments and see if any have a positive effect.

Hi mate yes the particular ear infection that you have is going round I have it to. It’s been about the same two weeks and no change still feels like my ear is full and the screaming is as loud as ever. I have a friend who has recovered from the same symptoms it took 6 weeks for his ear to be fully clear and could hear normally again. With this infection I think it’s a waiting game and just takes time to fully clear. Hope this makes you feel a bit better but your not on your own

So sorry you're still having trouble sun_1234 Be persistent. Ask for a return visit to ENT if need be. Thinking of you. I know it's been a long haul.

yes they will see me in 6 weeks time but I feel 0 improvement. same fluid same block and feel like something moving in my deep ear. pain and itchy. I don’t know what’s going to happen. thank you Doglover.

hello. Did you get better? I’ve been going thru the same for a week now and I’m starting to panic. Did you feel your eye heavy as well? My eye feels weird.

I feel better now after long time. yes eyes feel weird.
