Pain relief
Hi everyone 11 days ago my husband had to take me to hospital a&e as my back and sciatica was so bad… they did do an emergency mri scan due to concerns about Cauda equina (excuse spelling)… luckily it wasn’t but I was given oral morphine. And told to spk to my gps again about pain relief. Which I did

hand and wrist pain
hi, I have been suffering with pain in my right hand for quite a few years. In 2018 I fell transferring from my wheelchair to my recliner, I landed heavily on my right arm and it bent back quite a bit. The carers called paramedics because I thought I had broken my arm and to help me up. The real pain

Oxycodone and Laxative
I have just started on Oxycodone to replace Oramorph... 5 mg fast relief . Suffering from Bladder Camcer. Problem is that I then need a laxative because both of the above make me constipated. Oxycodone appears not to react well with Dulcosoft laxative. Anyone any suggestions ?

Oramorph Allergy? breathing is worse with oramorph
oramorph allergy? I'm on low dose oramorph but I notice my breathing is terrible when I'm on it - to the extent I'm gasping and feeling like I'm dying after a few paces. I wonder if I might be allergic to the preservatives in it - does anyone else have a reaction to oramorph. I have a bit of asthma

Hi All I was expecting to see the oncologist on Tuesday with the results of the further test on cells for mutations but the results haven't come back yet - so more waiting. Update on my Partner
It's been a couple of months since I last posted about my partner (43 years old, diagnosed with ARLD back in July 2021) so I thought I would share an update on his progress. Since then, he's had a couple more blood tests that have shown further improvement. His platelets and hemoglobin are now just

RLS mum on 6mg of Ropinorole
I have had mild to moderate RLS for 25+ years but so far have self managed to avoid meds. My mum of 85 yrs is a severe sufferer and has thought her life tried most conventional medications & alternative therapies, ending up in recent (last 7/8 years) on a combination of ropinorole, tramadol, oramorph

Answering a question with honesty
Im sorry to hear your having a hard time coping with the pain. Oramorph is the only thing now I can take that gives me 70/75% help. I do sometimes try and find a distraction like listening to music with headphones on and lying down. Unfortunately not much really helps most people you just keep trying

Raised LFT Question
Good morning, I was wondering if anyone could offer me any insight to my blood test results. I used Thriva to check my Liver function amongst other things and all come back ok except GGT of 112. I mentioned to GP and she ordered some more blood tests. In the meanwhile I have had a hysterectomy almost
