Pain on Gemzar/Gemcitabine
Hello ladies, I'm currently on single agent Gemzar/Gemcitabine and have started having agonising stomach and back pain which starts about six hours after my infusion and carries on for about six to eight hours thereafter. I've resorted to an hourly 5ml dose of oramorph during these episodes, but it

Update on daughter. 9 weeks from global anoxic brain injury. Still on the rollercoaster.
Hi all, not posted for a while but wanted to come on and give an update on my daughter after 9 weeks. She is still classed as pdoc and is unresponsive but is still with us and fighting. She is making eye contact and they have seen some tracking to sound and pictures but only slightly and not consistent

Relief at last - only taken 3 years
Well I am now day 5 of taking pregablin & fingers crossed I am feeling so much better, it seems to be managing the pain & I have only had to take oramorph once & that was only because I panicked when I woke up with a bit of cramping. Day one was fun as I felt as high as a kite & didn’t stop smiling all

Help with ibs symptoms
Hi, I have just been diagnosed with ibs after 3 years of pain. Had countless tests, the most recent being a defecating proctogram, this showed up a full circumferential inussuception, rectocele & entrocele. I’ve also had a capsule endoscopy which showed all the markers still in my left small bowel.

Advice needed
Hi, after suffering for years in pain and being told it was skeletal by doctors and being told to do physio I looked into more options for my pain and asked to be referred to a Gyno. I had a consultation with a Gyno and they confirmed my suspicions also for endometriosis. I was referred for surgery and

Oramorph/knee pain
Oramorph helped a little to relieve my knee pain, but the side effect I constipation. I would recommend taking a laxative with it-I find Laxido gentle but effective. Javelin9

Oramorph in Hospital
Oramorph in Hospital Good morning everyone. I was recently discharged from hospital with a bronchiectasis exacerbation. While I was in hospital the doctors asked if I had tried Oramorph before to help relax my breathing and help with my anxiety and panicking which can in turn make your breathing worse

Another Month ........ Another Fracture!🙄
I hope everyone is as well as can be expected? (Vain hope probably, but worth a try)!😉🤞Fingers also crossed for some nice bank holiday sunshine for everyone! (Cloudy here today). I posted in February about how I'd very stupidly fallen down a couple of stairs and suffered a periprosthetic femur fracture

Oramorph Removed
Due to the NHS realising the GPs were dishing out opiates without properly monitoring patients. I have had my oramorph stopped, I now take zomorph that help, Oramorph is taken for immediate release. Getting to the pain enabling people to get a quality of life back without pain. How do I get this medication

Many thanks for all your informative replies to my previous post. Unfortunately there were too many to reply to you individually but having analysed the feelings I guess this is a next step in the armoury. Have a nice weekend and hope all your health issues stay stable or better still have some improvement
