frustrating
is there any one here that has had 2 heart attacks and is on the usual cocktail of heart medication? My frustration is that I have chronic back pain and am now no longer prescribed Naproxen or any other anti iflammatory medication. i refuse to believe that there is nothing else out there that I can

I’m curious to know if many fellow sufferers of RLS on have found that Oramorph makes their symptoms worse.

Oramorph Liquid vs Morphine Slow acting tablets
Oramorph Liquid vs Morphine Slow acting tablets Good morning everyone, I have currently been taking for over a year 2.5 ml of Oramorph Liquid, 4 times a day to help my Stage 4 COPD breathing ie 10 ml in total daily. At a recent hospital review I was asked if I would like to try Morphine slow acting

medication that makes RLS worse
I need to know which medications , especially pain relief and sleeping meds, make RLS worse. Some years ago I was given pain relief and sleeping meds after rotator cuff surgery and spent the whole night walking around my room. I have another procedure coming up and want to avoid a repeat. I know

Can anyone make sense of this?
My last Alt and AST were slightly raised and have since lowered but just had a GGT reading of 356!!! Only an occasional drinker but been on co-codamol, Oramorph, Sertraline for about 15years. Does anyone have any ideas? I used to have a problem with drink but not for last 9 years.

SOB relief
Hi, I'm new to this site, in my mid-60's with bronchiectasis and an FEV1 of around 40%. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of being given something like a mild version of oramorph to relieve the discomfort of ongoing dyspnea, or at what stage that becomes possible ? At the moment I have to use

Lung transplant clinic appointment
Thankyou for all your good wishes. Well my first visit to Harefield was quite overwhelming. I only learnt as we were traveling down on Tuesday that I wld be having 'some' tests. Some! A lung function test, ecg, chest xray, blood pressure and sats, urine test and I couldn't count the number of vials

Let down...again !
When I wrote my last post I was so full of hope and felt happy again. I had forgotten what that was like! However, my original Dr. has overruled my new Dr. and once again I am getting no help or support and I am feeling so depressed. I have had 3 day's where the pain has been unbearable and yesterday

Laproscopy done Yesterday
Hello I had the news I don't have endo which is what was expected. I'm rather upset as I was hoping to get a diagnosis of something! I just really want answers. I was booked in under a cancellation and from a Google I don't think the lead surgeon specialised in endometriosis but the hosptial is recognised

Hello I recently had the news I don't have endo which is what was expected. I'm rather upset as I was hoping to get a diagnosis of something! I just really want answers. Bit of background- I'm 26 and been pretty much signed off since February. The pains have been bad since last summer but have been present

Aches and Pains
I came off Rubraca in November, and since then have developed severe back ache. It hurts when I walk, sit and when I am in bed, but not continually! I am having a scan in a couple of weeks as the oncologist thinks it could be lymph node involvement behind my spine. I have been given Oramorph for pain

Thank you all for your kind words and support
Evening all well things still aren’t fab but a little better. I’m going to have early night and hopefully feel better tomorrow. I’m very tired and going to take some Oramorph and paracetamol, and hope to sleep longer than 3 hours tonight

Feeling really down
I have recently started treatment for recurring cancer.Rubrac a didn't work for me and I have already had Carbo/Taxol and Carbo/Caelyx. As my son and his family are visiting from New Zealand in July (prompted by my increasing ill health) I decided to try Anastrazole tablets rather than weekly Taxol,

Pain from Chemo attacking cancer? THANK YOU
Hi everyone Thanks for the responses to my post re the above. Happily the pain started to subside but I made an appointment for a checkup with my GP and he could finding nothing to worry about after having a good prod around and asking questions, and agrees it was probably the Chemo doing its job.
