Awful back pain

There is no let up. Just on here to vent, have had a good cry this evening. This pain is just relentless and exhausting. My back pain is just awful, nothing relives it. I have tried hot water bottle, co codomol, ibruprofen and I if that doesn’t work I will have to take some oramorph. Mentally I am just feeling so weak tonight. It is exhausting.

I sympathise greatly, I had an injection yesterday an have had no pain or periods for over a year an today I seem to have the worst back, abdomen, groin pain etc an I’m scared the injections have stopped working all of a sudden an the thought of that is devastating

I had agonising back pain and I went to a chiropractor and it helped I still have the pain but it’s nowhere as bad, I could straighten my spine it was that bad or walk properly. I hope you feel better soon xx

I can fully understand this. And it’s so hard when people don’t. I’ve cried in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep, and taken codeine at 2am I hope that I can just get some sleep. Please take care and I really hope it lets up soon xxx

I’m still being diagnosed but my GP is concerned about the ovarian pain I’ve been having which is on my left side, as is my back pain. I said to him it just feels like my whole pelvic area is just full, there’s no let up from the pain - ever!

My back hurts worst lower left side, and in my sacroiliac joint. It’s horrendous, the pain just never stops.

Where does your back hurt most?

OMG! The pain you are describing is the exact same as me, left hand side, fullness in pelvis like my whole pelvis and rectum is going to fall out/ pushing itself out. It is like a pressure. No let up at all it is exhausting.

Hope they can sort it for you. I was in hsp about a month ago, suspected reoccurrence of endo- endo found in pouch of Douglas in a couple of surgeries. Last lap was clear then I had my little girl. Have suspected adenomyosis

in reply topinkfairydust10

Yes, pressure! That’s the best way to describe it.

I’ve wondered if I have endo there, sometimes it’s painful just to even sit down. I have to sit leaning back if that makes sense?

I constantly doubt myself and wonder if I’m wasting their time as my periods aren’t the heaviest, but they’re painful and going to the loo is sometimes agony when I’m on. Like I am going to tear open.

Yes!! If you sit down sometimes you get a pain that does through you. It is horrible. You are definitely not wasting anyone’s time you know your body and a person shouldn’t be in pain with periods

Back pain is one of my worst symptoms, I totally feel your pains and send hugs. The only things that eases mine is taking a cannabis oil capsule daily, without that I’d have backache 24:7

Sending hugs

Thank you so much, not tried cannabis oil. Maybe something to look into. The pain is just relentless. Ergh.

When is your endo? X

Behind my uterus, ovaries, cervix, rectum and pouch of Douglas. My back pain sometimes goes down my left leg too. Had surgery 18 months ago but I’m back to square one again x

When you say you tried it, what did you try, what dosage and for how long? I am pretty schooled in this area and if you get any of the three factors wrong, it doesn't work. It took me a good year of persisting with cannabis products to get it right, but my god, I am glad I did. Although I still get backpain because I had a Fibromyalgia diagnosis 4 years before my first operation down below, however I don't have back pain so severe it radiates down my legs 24/7 anymore.

Hi I have suffered from the same. I say suffered. because I had endo behind my uterus and left ovary. The pain would start from lower back' left thigh, I used deep heat spray. It worked wonders. I am also getting physio and now after 4 weeks of getting deep massage once a week I am pain free. I got the all clear in november after having lap in August. Try deep heat it's really good.

Thank you I will do xxxx glad you are feeling much better 😘😘😘

If the pain is a result of your endometriosis- I cannot help as I don't really know how I get stuff from this part of Health Unlocked as I did not sign up to do so but I can tell you that after trying all sorts of therapy for my lower back pain many years ago without success, I went to an Alexander Technique teacher and after a course of lessons during which I virtually re-learnt how to walk I became pain free and have continued to be so. Of course you have to find a practitioner who you feel comfortable with as with all therapies. Good luck!

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear this and I totally sympathise with you. I constantly have intense lower back pain that feels like the bottom of my back is on fire as well as having terrible cramp and pelvic pain. Its so intense I wake up in the middle of the night with it and can't get back to sleep. Painkillers don't work and I don't get any rest from it either. It's awful! It really brings you down and you feel like no one is doing anything to help you.

I really hope you're feeling better today x
