Article i found on loneliness and isolation.
I found this article online and i found it so useful. Being chronically ill is one of the most isolating experiences I’ve ever had. I feel alone in this battle constantly. I’ve heard chronic illness equated to falling down the rabbit hole before, which I feel is an apt description. It turns your world

If you've ever...you may have PMR
I was on a two hour drive back from my Rheumatologist's office yesterday and I amused myself by thinking about some of the crazier aspects of having PMR (Jeff Foxworthy style to the Americans in the forum). I came up with a few personal examples and hope some of you will add a few more:) If you've

8 days old and discomfort after feeding
Hi there, I am a first time mum to an 8 day old baby. He has started getting very uncomfortable after feeding, constantly has the hiccups for two days, and today even cried and pumped his legs during feeding. He is breastfed and took to it brilliantly - the midwife thinks the position, latch etc is good

Ended up off work again.. any tips on explaining to management?
Hello everyone again, I ended up off work again this week, which means I am going to be in a lot of trouble when I go back in tomorrow (still not 100% so actually debating it, but feel like a failure when I let endo control my life). I always end up crying and getting emotional when talking to people

Low dose Naltrexone
Hi, I'm new here. Has anyone tried LDN for Rheumatoid Arthritis? All the rheumatoid drugs taken over 20yrs, have either given bad side effects, not worked, or stopped working!! Desperate to try something else and heard about this for various conditions.

check out LDN on this site!
Shaws, have you done any research on LDN? Low dose naltrexone? There is a book on Amazon called LDN The Book! Many are on there with so many autoimmune diseases, and are now in remission! Do you have Hashimoto’s, which is an Autoimmune disease. People who have Cancer, MS, Fibromyalgia, etc! This is not

Broken spine; broken ribs... encouragement
I am new on this thread... My son is a tree surgeon. Eight days ago, he fell off a crane. The fall was six meters down, landing on his back, where he broke three vertabrae of his spine, and almost all of his ribs. After 'successful' surgery on his spine, he's been in an induced coma these last eight

Need advice. This is probably a normal brain function that I'm over analyzing
So recently my anxiety has convinced me I'm going to lose my mind. Go figure. Throughout the day I will have tons and tons of flashbacks with emotion attached, usually of unpleasant times. Every time this happens I ponder why I felt that over and over thinking something must be wrong with my brain if

Low dose naltrexone for pain
Can I ask, anyone using LDN for pain, how do you get on with it and how did you get it? I can't take codeine or nsaids and paracetamol doesn't cut it. Haven't tried CBD oil yet. I have a very low BP and POTS/dysautomonia so my digestive system gives me lots of problems. I am OK if I can pace but sometimes

The last few days have not been good. Had a massive flare up where I couldn’t eat, was curled up in constant

Dr Armin Schwarzbach was a guest on the LDN Radio Show 4th August
Dr Schwarzbach talks about laboratory testing for Lyme Disease and other infections. Dr. Armin Schwarsbach treats patients world wide for a Variety of autoimmune conditions utilizing LDN. He is constantly amazed at the excellent results and is bewildered that so few doctors are aware of Low Dose Naltrexone

anybody have a link to current research on this drug. A naturopath put me on it, saying it would help slow the progression. Western medicine doc says it's not indicated. I'm not having luck finding current info/research.

Amazing
This weekend started with a visit to the chiropractor friday afternoon. I hadn't seen him in almost a year. We talked about what has been going on with me and this dizzy, doomy, ill feeling and how it's been effecting my body (abdominal and back muscles). We also discussed what I thought could have

Anorectal manometry and biofeedback - What should I expect?
I have been referred for anorectal manometry and biofeedback training at the end of November. I received some information from the hospital about both of these but I can't find much else about it all online. If you have had either or both of these, what was your experience like? Did you find it helpful
