Introduction to a Little Old Lady
Hi, I’m Debbie. I’m a Grandma. I found this site while researching pain and LDN. I ‘ve experienced pain almost constantly for 30 years, beginning with sciatica-like pain and ranging from excruciating to what is now a constant “low-burn”. I was told to lose weight and exercise when I had been pain free

Citalopram & AF ?
Hello My 93 year old father-in-law has just been prescribed the anti-depressant Citalopram 20mg/day. He also has AF. It says on the web to beware of this drug if you have a heart problems and particularly refers to Torsade de Pointes, so maybe it's just that condition which matters, and he does not have

My body has changed a lot recently, my thighs are bigger and my biceps too as well as a little extra around my middle. Most of this change is because of an increase in muscle mass but due to my body dysmorphia it’s really really hard for me. I just tried on all my pants that used to fit and none of them

Anal manometry - can I be sedated?
I'm due to have an anal manometry test next Wednesday and am feeling really nervous about it now. Does anyone know if I can ask to be sedated for this procedure? I cant find much information online about it - a lot of websites don't mention sedation at all but I have seen that as an option in a couple

memory problems.
recently my e.s.a. benefit was stopped and forced to go on e.s.a. I was sent on a course to start online. I found I was reading sentences over a d over again and nothing seemed to sink in. I just couldn't concentrate let alone getting a lot of questions wrong as stuff I was reading obviously hadn't digested

RESTRICTIONS MAY BE COMING ON HOME DIALYSIS
Those doing any form of Home Hemodialysis may have an issue with the US government paying for more than 3 treatments each week even when prescribed by your nephrologist. I received this information from Home Dialysis Central and copied the link here for those wanting to contact their Senator, Congressperson

Guys I think I figured out where my anxiety originated from. I believe I took advantage of life when it was good and didn't appreciate the good in life and joyment I felt. Alot of traumatic events happened to me since november of last year. My fiance and I split up. I found out he was cheating for awhile

Rhummy plan in tatters! Update GCA
Well according to the master plan I should be on 10mg starting today. No way is this achievable after hitting the nlggling pain buffers at 15mg never mind the planned 12.5mg 4 weeks ago. Back to 20 /17.5mg & the jaw & head are settling down. Still have burning shoulders, stiff neck & buffalo hump though

Dr. Alena Guggenheim - Ldn prescriber
Dr. Alena Guggenheim does extensive testing and observation like a detective, to solve the case and heal her patient. She stumbled onto Low Dose Naltrexone while still in medical school over 10 years ago, and sees it as one her most valuable tools. But like all great doctors, she also concentrated on

Low Dose Naltrexone [LDN] -2.
Charlie [Searoemer] posted yesterday that he uses low dose naltrexone [LDN]. Anyone else using it? Anyone investigated LDN? I was a member of the LDN group a long while back: http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org People use LDN to boost the immune response. So, not to be used with prednisone, etc. I posted

Bedwetting 7 year old
Hi, I’m hoping for some advice about bed wetting. My 7 year old son is wet every night. We’ve never worried about it before as it’s only really in the last year he’s stopped having accidents during the day. He doesn’t seem to get much notice still! However, night is our next challenge. He is such a deep

Lance Adams Syndrome..
Hi Everyone, I've been reading a lot of posts on the site for a while, but haven't yet posted. My 33 year old partner had a cardiac arrest back in April, with approx. 25 minutes down time. He was in a coma for a couple of weeks and had slowly regained consciousness. He's now at a rehabilitation centre
