Repressed Memories
Hi, I was hospitalized with VM at the age of 7 back in 1973. Shortly after hospitalization, I slipped into a coma in which I remained for around a month. When I first gained consciousness, I couldn’t walk or talk, but I eventually re-learned to do both. My total hospital stay lasted 2 months, about

Personal alarms with fall detector
Hi all! I'm trying to find a personal alarm with fall detector that I can wear when I'm at home (including in the shower) and when I'm out and about. So far, I have only found one called a Buddi. At first, it seemed I'd found just what I was looking for, but then I found you have to be within 30m of

Have all the symptoms of IBS but is it something else?
I have had what I would call a successful ileostomy since 1968 which cured 4 years of misery with ulcerative colitis. I could eat everything, just not ridiculous amounts of hard to-digest-fruits and veggies which have cause several painful blockages over the years (scar tissue or gluttony?) At ER I

Deja vu or something else?
Hi. I know you can't specifically 'diagnose ' or medically advise but I was wondering if you experience anything like this and if you know what it is. I can't get my doctor to take it seriously. I have a tbi that I got after a car crash in January 2007. I suffered a diffuse axon injury to my right

Distress and agitation
My brother was diagnosed July 2018 with PSP - probable onset around 2014, definite signs 2016. He is now in residential care but has never come to terms with diagnosis : knows but is very very restless, hates the loss of independence, rails against whatever takes his attention at a given moment and

Moviprep
Got a colonoscopy on Friday as mentioned in another post and the dreaded prep is tomorrow. I’ve had many of these procedures before (had bowel cancer) but always had picolax. This time I’ve been given moviprep for the so called preparation. On reading the side effects it mentions arrhythmias can occur

Is it possible to break bad habits after brain injury?
First off I tried to post this question earlier but the link my answer was broken. We are what we repeatedly do hence excellence is a habit said Aristotle. Habits shape our lives, you are who you are because of habits, they are consistent unconscious vital patterns in our lives. For those who sustained

Advice about 4 year old
My 4 year old is still no where near clean and is still in daytime nappies or pullups (depends on the circumstances). We made this decision as she has no concept of when she needs a poo and having accidents she found very traumatic and was having a big impact on her both emotionally and socially. Most

Sherry was on the LDN Radio Show 1st January 2020 Sherry suffered for so long before getting diagnosed with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and degenerative Arthritis. Even then there was no cure or relief. Nothing worked until she was finally prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). Listen to her journey through

Dad taking time to wake up after induced coma
Hi everyone, just after a little bit of insight if possible? My dad is 65, he had a bad fall and broke 8 ribs just over 2 weeks ago. He was put in the icu almost immediately as he needed surgery to repair his ribs on the right side as one had pierced his lung. That all went well then unfortunately just
