**MenB vaccine breaking news**
Well, after years of talking about a potential vaccine for meningococcal group B (MenB), we are delighted to have had some really positive news today about it. No, it’s not available yet….but today sees it getting one step closer, which should certainly be celebrated. And in the long run up to this

Did anyone suffer from numbness and tingling in their body during recovery?
I was diagnosed with viral meningitis this past August and was hospitalized for four days. Within a month I started to regain my strength and went back to work. I did still battle some neck/back numbness and tingling and occasional headaches. fwo months after discharge I was feeing almost back to normal

Athletes foot??
Ive been getting what I think is athletes foot on and off for a couple of months now. I'm not sure it is athletes foot as I have it in the past and it was always insanely itchy but this isn't. This time it is the skin between my toes splitting open and bleeding. It is really sore and painful. I always

Does anyone get very out of breath, post viral meningitis.
I had viral meningitis in June, now sleep most days as im always so tired and very out of breath just by walking short distances. Was curious if this has anything to do with meningitis or if it could be something else. I have told my doctor but she does not seem to want to do anything about it. My

Kidney function/NSAIDs
Hi, I am sitting here panicking and worrying. Along with 20mg injection weekly of MTX, 10mg daily pred, 4 types of BP meds, omeprazole, 6 days of folic acid, co-codomal I also take 90mg daily of arcoxia (enterocoxib or something to give it its proper name!). My eGfR (kidney function) is down to 32

Anyone else been lead to believe for almost a year that they'd suffered from severe Viral Meningitis, only to be told by Neurologist that is was infact Encephilitis or to be more precise Meningoencephilitis (Meningitis and encephilitis together)?

C25k Wk4 R3 - Week 4 Finally Over!
Well that took some time to get all those 3 runs done but in fact this was the easiest of the 3 as hoped, so the breaks didn't seem to hold me back. Ran on the field today and the grass was short and dry and easier on the legs than the pavement. Looking forward to week 5!
