Well after 13 months of waiting for a neurologist, turns out it’s not restless legs.... I have a tic disorder & ADHD!! So hospital putting plan together but they think I’ll need dopamine therapy and congenital therapy. If that doesn’t work I’m sawing them off!!!

Hello again everyone! You might remember me, the one trying to get off of ropinerole because, in addition to augmentation issues, it also suppresses prolactin, a hormone necessary to produce and maintain breastmilk. I've had a hell of a time trying to withdraw from it, and I have visited a neurologist

I am in the process of adjusting my dose. Brought on by worse symptoms developing. I could not rise from a heavy cushioned recliner. That all changed after week into the adjustments . Adjustment effort continues. Now if I only don’t mess up. Reference: “ Why Are Forum Members Who are Using HDT/B-1

Adding pressure is reducing my symptoms
I've been taking Dopamine for the last 6 months and it is helping immensely. If my legs still act up after lots of exercise or too much sugar, I have recently found relief by putting pressure on my right upper buttock. Used a bean bag (the ones for your neck) it's got good weight and the beads conform

I need a doctor who will listen to me!
I am infuriated. I am experiencing augmentation after 4 years on ropinirole. I experience severe RLS at least every other night and consequently do not get any sleep at all. Is there an RLS/PLM medication suitable for Driving?
Hi. I'm a Train Operator and have suffered with RLS/PLM for many years. Until now I've been able to manage mild symptoms and only really suffered if I was over-tired or exhausted. The condition runs in my family and my Mum was prescribed Sinemet and my sister is taking Ropinirole. My symptoms have recently

Tyrosine
Has anyone taken tyrosine and had any positive outcomes? I already take magnesium Iron and B12. I have recently added Omega 3 but when looking into Pramipexole and dopamine I came across Tyrosine. It seems you can literally buy a supplement for anything these days but wondering if its worth looking

Neurologist for RLS- frustrated
I finally saw the neurologist for RLS. She wants me to take Horizant, and balked at giving me low dose a Tramadol because I’m breastfeeding. (Tramadol does not cause issues in breastfeeding, which is why unwanted to try it. EVERY other drug for RLS does.) Told me to stay on the ropinerole at .50 mg

Coping with ADHD hypersexuality
This is embarrassing for me to admit, but I think in my brain's endless quest for dopamine, I have a preoccupation with sexuality that has been ongoing from the age of 13 to present (I'm 36 now). I'm married and my wife tries to be understanding, but her baseline libido is nearly non-existent and mine

Reducing oxidative stress and inflammation to slow Parkinson's disease
This is the subject I've been working on for a year now. The basic research has been going on for 20 years. The key researchers are the brilliant Prof Albena Dinkova-Kostova in Dundee UK for the cellular and genetic processes, the neuroscientist Antonio Cuadrado in Madrid and Jed Fahey in US for plant

Hi everyone I’ve had loads of advice from this site and I’m still seeking it. I’ll give you a quick synopsis of what I’ve been going through and where I am now. I have had RLS what seems like forever. I took Ropinirole for 10 years, went through augmentation, developed a gambling problem and managed

Can Oligomeric Proanthocyanadins (OPC's) be of any benefit for ADHD??
Short answer: Yes Oligomeric Proanthocyanadins (OPC's for short) are polyphenols which help give fruit, vegetables, and plants their dark, rich color. These micronutrients contain very strong antioxidants and phytochemicals that assist plants with disease preventive properties. Someone messaged me
