Stopping Azilect to change to Macuna? I need help.
Dopamine agonists worsen RLS over time (proven) and I believe in my case may have caused it. Finding this out has changed my opinion of Azilect. I was hopeful it might be Neuroprotective because of it being a Mao-B inhibitor but, it’s causing worsened RLS is the antithesis of Neuroprotective. (On a

MAOI for depression in Parkinson’s
I’ve been through everything for my Parkinson’s depression and anxiety anhedonia disorder but nothing touches it. Recently started Rasagiline which I’ve been on for about a month but not feeling anything from it. Next suggestion from my neuro psychiatrist is moclobimide but I read it doesn’t increase

Prolactin
I have been meaning to tackle prolactin (PRL) for at least a dozen years, but there are hundreds of PCa papers and who has the time? It's an important topic that is rarely mentioned. A recent paper (Jan 13, 2003 - my 75th birthday, so how could I ignore it?) has this in the intro (note - PRLR is the

Levodopa May Reduce Neuroinflammation
This intrigues me. Summary: Levodopa, a drug commonly prescribed for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease that increases dopamine in the brain was found to reverse the effects of neuroinflammation on the reward system and improve symptoms associated with depression. https://neurosciencenews.com/levodopa-inflammation-depression

Neck and arm twitches at night leading to arm and leg spasms. Any treatment options?
I have not been sleeping much as recently I have muscle twitches in my neck. These occur every 15-20 seconds, on my left side and lead to a reflexive head or leg spasm. I have also been having these twitches in my left arm for months, leading to sleeping on my left side being very difficult. I have figured

what do you do when you’re “off”
I have three main “off” symptoms. Tight left leg, left foot dystonia, and anxiety. Someone recently told me that dopamine breaks down to noradrenaline and then to adrenaline, which can feel anxiety especially when movement is difficult. My tendency is to want to sit still until this passes, which can
