This and That RLS
Every self help RLS self help article and book says that If we have RLS going on, then we need to go to the doctor. There is a long running list of self help treatments that seem logical to do like hot baths, gentle stretches, rubbing down the legs... but we all know that it's not going to hold us

BocowoA trial update - A Lull before a Storm
Having enjoyed the first few hours in feeling totally free of all Parkinson’s Disease symptoms (while being completely free of Levodopa medication for over 15 days) the recent heat wave brought with it an unaccounted for twist; and coinciding with a shortfall in the main ingredient of BocowoA, I decided

In yesterday's Daily Mail: Wraparound magnet that may end the misery of restless leg syndrome which brings misery to millions of Britons
In yesterday's Daily Mail (copied verbatim): It sounds faintly ridiculous – but restless leg syndrome (RLS), characterised by uncomfortable twitches in the muscles of the legs, brings misery to millions of Britons. Some experts suggest that up to 15 per cent of the population could be affected, and

Trying to kid myself?
I know I've been going through a very bad patch recently, made worse by losing seven of my pet rats and a hamster, plus financial worries, on top of my pain problems etc. However, I realise that for a year I've been finding it harder to get involved with the things I used to find interesting - photography

Does anyone else suffer sensory problems with their RLS?
Hi, I’m a UK male in my mid 30’s and have been diagnosed with RLS about 2 years ago, my symptoms cover most of my body. I have all the classic fidgeting, uncomfortable sensations in my legs but also have a whole range of abnormal sensations all over my body, which include crawling, tingling, etc.

Does enzyme Q10 work?
I read on the internet that enzyme Q10 can help with RLS because it helps to normalise dopamine levels in the brain. Has anyone tried it, & if so, did it work?

Can somebody help me who know about medications.
I know there is something wrong in my head and that something is working harder than it should be, or not enough. I cannot communicate very well I can feel I am like a broken computer that needs fixing but, it's not a simple solution. So what I would like to know is out of all the medications I have

If it only takes 24 - 48 hours for nicotine to leave your body, why would I want to use NRT?
For those of you 'toying' with the idea of whether or not to use NRT have a read through the following information that I put up a while ago. It's also worth reading through it as you may understand how those nicotine receptors in that brain of yours work; When you first stop smoking, it is true

Where I am at the moment
I've been having a really hard time with the rls...my feet, legs, pelvis and lower back. I'm taking co codamol at night to get a little bit of sleep but it wakes me up when the pills wear off. I still won't take the dopamine drugs. I know my ssri has probably made things worse but I've been on them for

Hello, I have Graves disease, I've been on a maintaing dose of 5mg since December. I was diagnosed mid-September and my last blood test shows: T4 - 15 (9-19) TSH - 2.2 (0.4-5) Since my TSH increased, I've been hyper-active, restless. I cannot sleep but I'm never tired. I do more and more sport
