I can't hold this information any more. I was very sceptical, but now I can say it works. 3 weeks ago I went through a 7 days course of an experimental Russian drug called Emoxypine (125 mg oral + 100 mg intramuscularly - into my buttock). The efffect was quite shocking. My dopamine has been elevated a lot. After finishing the course I feel my dopamine so much elevated that I abandoned caffeine altogether. I wake up easily and refreshed. Guys, it's like a miracle, I just feel like my brain chemistry was fixed, I work and rest and enjoy my life. Here in Russia it's widely available in every corner drug store as Mexidol. No RLS for 3 weeks. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoxy...

Emoxypine - RLS free for 3 weeks
This is interesting, Alex. Please keep us posted.
Will you have to repeat the process after 3 weeks, or is this just an update, and they expect a longer ' life' ?
The effect definetely wears off, exactly like some sort of a vitamin. I feel like doing another course with half of the dose. Still RLS free though.
Thanks.
I wonder would the oral route be enough?
I'm needlephobic.😭
Thanks for sharing. Is this a drug that is being used specifically for RLS in Russia? How did your doctor come to prescribe this for you?
No, not specifally. It's a new promising drug, prescribed in a number of conditions. And considered to be really safe. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoxy... I have pretty mild RLS, with no pain, thus a nootropic.
I read an article indicating that it may have an effect on dopamine receptors allowing more dopamine to be better utilized in the brain receptors. Since some of our DA drugs like ropinerole produce a similar response then would it be likely that emoxypine could eventually cause augmentation?? Just wondering.
This contribution is very interesting, but we must know more about Emoxipine before recommending anyone to take it. Among other things possible side effects, if it causes tolerance or dependence, etc. Anyone who knows or has an experience with this medication please spread the word.
I researched this a bit - best info I could find so far...

It does appear somewhat harmless - but as suggested start with a small dose, and work forward with an end date and possible restart.
I will order this and try it out.
Hi. I notice your original post was about 4 years ago and I just wondered if this drug is still effective? Are you still RLS free?
Hi! As a person more or less RLS free I want to share something. I had to abondone Emoxypine (you can find my original post here) after the initial 7 days course. An elevated level of dopamine caused indigestion in my guts. After some time it became obvious. Now I'm more or less RLS free, since it was mild anyways to begin with. Magnesium + B6 help. General multivitamins from different manufacturers every day, 1 pill, no matter what is a suggested daily intake. Right now I have 5 different brands of multivitamins on my shelf, taking a different pill every day. Avoiding Omeprazole since it directly causes RLS but most of the MDs don't know it. I allow myself to drink alcohol but don't overeat, especially carbs. Some valerian drops. I try to stand more then sit. An occasional session with a good massage therapist. I like cold air and I sleep only with my AC set to a lowest temperature possible and under a heavy enough blanket. Directing a fan to my feet in case they start acting up while I try to fall asleep. My job is pretty stressful so if valerian drops don't work anymore I take Alimemazine for some time. If it stops working as well I take Phenibut 250 Mg before going to bed (no more than 10 days in a row). Thank you, I even published it as a separate post for more people to read about my experience.
