Dopamine Patch versus tablets your experience?
Hi, I am seeking your experience as to whether Patches are safe and do or do not cause more complications than the tablets. I was diagnosed with PD 6 years ago and my Neurologist has suggested a Neupro patch 2mg/24h because I reported no real on and off periods on the Madopar tablets and no real difference

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and RLS - article
My recent sleep study concluded I have mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), in addition to RLS, of course. It turns out there is a higher than average prevalence of RLS in OSA patients (~8%), although they are not causally related. I am awaiting delivery and fitting of a CPAP machine (there

How I went from 13 to 4 a day (Carbidopa 25/Levodopa 100)?
I started taking my L-dopa on an empty stomach (no eating 30 minutes before or 1 hour after). My prescription was written for 1-1/2 tablets 6 times a day (9 a day). With my Movement Disorder Specialist’s knowledge, I was taking 1 tablet every 50 minutes using keeping my neck pain to a medium as a gauge

SHARING A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE

The revolution we are living through, the need for simplicity and a few controversial considerations.

A theory, perhaps a warning
the short version: Excessive intake of dopamine enhancing supplements may knock serotonin out of balance resulting in a severe episode of depression. The longer version: Here's what happened to me and my guess as to why/how - I was anticipating a need for a little extra help with my Parkinsons symptoms

The Loss of Friendships post Parkinsons Diagnosis

How do you fight game addiction?
I'm in my second year of university - I have a lot of assignments. I created a routine or system that I can manage my tasks, my daily stuff that needs to be done. Hi. This is really uncomfortable to talk about but it's eating me alive. It's really killing me. I can't do anything. I even started fainting. I talked to my therapist but she was silent. I take my meds. Okay so i better finally spill it. This year has been a nightmare for me. My whole life was a nightmare
