Link between red dose and visual defects
I have been advised by the retinal screening service that I have early evidence of damage to the retina consistent with my type 2 diabetes, which has been exacerbated by the prednisolone, and up until now controlled by diet (Bloods normal). I have been experiencing visual defects, like a migraine, but

In the end, I gave in and cycled to my doctor’s surgery, where he checked my blood glucose levels. They were sky high at 45 [a normal level is between 4 and 7]. I was astonished.

Broken ankle - burning sensation
Hi all just looking for some advice. I broke my ankle just over a week ago and today I was fitted with a boot. I’m currently laid in bed in agony with an awful burning sensation in my toes. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I didn’t have this with the half cast only tonight with the boot. I’m not

How long before tingling toes occur in untreated diabetes?
How long does it take before peripheral neuropathy in the form of "tingling numbness" in the feet appears in untreated type 2 diabetes. Of course there are many factors such as the degree of diabetes and diet but are we talking weeks, months, years?
