more about sleep
I am also taking ginger root and ginkgo bilboa (these for tinnitus) so maybe that has helped along with the gaba. Anyway the restless legs is about gone after years so I will keep on taking those 3 things!

Anyone experiencing possible tendon or ligament lower back of leg and ankle discomfort? Can't determine. Can it be diabetes symptoms?
I'm on 13mls. liquid pred. Just tapered from 15mls. Have been having these new symptoms the last few weeks. Last blood tests elevated glucose. Also increased appetite and depression. Any suggestions or comments welcomed. Thank you.

Is it Usual for Neuropathy and Pain to Get Worse with Age?
I meet with my doctor next week and will bring up increased neuropathy, pain, balance issues and new areas of numbness. I suspect she may tell me this is to be expected as I get older with PA. Is it? Or is it an indication that I am not SI frequently enough? For 20 years I have been sticking

Lungs, Lycra and Me
Had covid last year, Left my lungs in tatters and from there it was far too easy leap into a huge weight gain, type 2 diabetes and a fatty liver. Decided to try C25k cos I could not stand myself any more. I started 2 months ago after research and finding slow running. Even that was rough, I had to pause

Morning glucose reading
Good morning I have type 2 diabetes can someone tell me what my readings should be in the morning? My GP said under 11 then another doctor told me about 8. Most days I am under 10 on waking up, I go to bed with readings of 6 and wake to 8-9 why do they raise at night? I use a glucomem metre

Any recommendations for foot treatment?
I experience extreme flare ups of my Raynaud's in the form of foot pain, numbness and leg shakes. I eat very healthy, exercise daily and stay warm wearing thermal insoles, compression or thermal socks but these do not ease the flare ups or prevent them. Also experience the flares at certain times of

Diabetes Type 2, PD and Berberine
Diabetes is a common disease that affects many Americans and 90 to 95% of diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). I will be discussing T2DM and one option to help deal with it effectively based on multiple studies. Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is significantly less common so I will focus this discussion

Throbbing Pain From Raynaud’s
I have Raynaud’s. I’m on nifedipine and Sildenafil for circulation. Sometimes I experience throbbing pain in my fingers. Does anyone else go through this and if so what do you do for immediate pain relief?

Hi everyone So I had so tests done to see what was going on with stomach and bowel issues. My bloods all came back fine but my stool said Coeliac disease was present. I have to wait 4 weeks and do another test before they will refer me to gastroenterology. My brother has Coeliac and has had it since

Sotalol Started at Home
My daughter has had a-fib since she was 19. 1 ablation that failed after she got pregnant. Multiple meds and a cardioversion and she is in and out all the time. They started her on Sotalol 80mg 2x a day two days ago at home. I'm a retired nurse and have never heard of starting Sotalol at home. Today

Is there a link between low HDL cholesterol and low vitamin D?
Hello everyone, I recently had some blood test done (quite a few!) and the most of the results were fine but my HDL and 25-hyroxyl vitamin D were low. I've been supplementing with Vitamin D3&K2 for almost a year, and after initially rising from 8 to around 40, it hasn't improved. I still have fatigue

Keto & fasting for PD neuro protection. How does one combine this with medication times and management?
Intermittent fasting is believed to be neuro protective as is keto. My question is for those who have done or are doing fasting and or keto. How do you do it with your medications? Meds on an empty stomach? Does that include Ambroxol on an empty stomach? For those seeking more info on keto and

Peripheral Neuropathy and how to live with it
Hi All, I finished 6 cycles of chemotherapy (Docetaxel) in October 2019 and have had Peripheral Neuropathy ever since. For about the first 7-9 months I suffered the usual sharp pains in my feet (like they were being stabbed) and electric shock type pains as well. The other effect of PN has been numbness
