Apitherapy for Parkinson’s Disease: A Focus on the Effects of Propolis and Royal Jelly - 2020
I switched from Google to DuckDuckGo and found this surprising article. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/omcl/2020/1727142/ 5. Evidence from Preclinical Studies The effects of both propolis and its flavonoids and RJ and its lipids on PD were examined both in vivo and in vitro. The findings indicate that

I haven’t written for ages as I realised Idid not have RLS, but was having unpleasant tingling, crawling etc at night. My GP has put me on a “mood enhancer” which is more upbeat than anti depressant! It is called Duciltia, because I lost my husband some months ago and becoming depressed, this also

Bumetanide in combination with Furosemide?
My husband was on Furosemide with Spironlactone but swelling in legs not improving, on a phone call the Cardiologist changed the prescription to Bumetanide. That didn’t improve it, GP then reduced the Bumetanide and we thought he said to add Spironlactone back in, but no prescription came so we checked

High creatinine and cholesterol
Hi guys me again. My last thyroid test results seem to be pretty good but I'd appreciate any feedback about my other test results. My cholesterol was high and also creatinine very high. I did read that this can be linked to Hypo and after medication should return to normal. I've been on 150mcg for about

CRPS spasms and pins and needles
Hi I have complex regional pain syndrome on my right hand/arm/shoulder. I was wondering if anyone with the same condition gets spasm attacks followed by pins and needles. Cisplatin and Caelyx treatment.any experience to share please.
I’ve been cancer free for 17 months but the beast returned. I m on the above cocktail for 6 months at one monthly intervals. I was wondering what are most usual side effects. I had the first one on Friday, felt dreadful the first day, then was fine, apart from increase in neuropathy. Thanks for any info

Calquence and muscle/joint pain
Hi all, After a week on Calquence, my hubs is in excruciating pain - from the hips down. Can barely walk, can't sleep, etc. The pharmacist thinks this is a side effect from the Calquence. He's been taking hydrocodone left over from a procedure and I'm applying BioFreeze, which sort of takes the edge

Metformin for Parkinson’s?
A while ago a doctor offered to prescribe metformin for me for PD. I have just started researching this as a possible alternative to other diabetes drugs. Are any of you taking it for PD off label or for Diabetes? Thank you

Is leflunomide causing my chest/heart 'flutters' or might it be a build up of inflammation?
I was diagnosed with PMR in February 2018 and until now my posts have been confined to the PMRGCA forum. I now need advice from Vasculitis UK. I was diagnosed with asymptomatic large vessel vasculitis in September 2020. An ultrasound scan of axillary arteries showed right axillary 1MT 1.8mm and left
