Not sure what to do
I am so unsure what to do. I have worked hard all my life and finally landed a job in the medical field, but after 15 years being fairly stable with my health anxiety and GAD I have fallen, I have been struggling so bad for a few months. Back on medication but it seems slow to help me, I feel like I’

Levothyroxine with Hydrocortisone
Hello all, I hoping someone has experience of taking these 2 together! I have just this morning starting a trial of Levothyroxine, prescribed by my endocrinologist. I am ACTH deficient (secondary Addison's Disease), so take Hydrocortisone as replacement therapy x3daily, and have done for 8 years now.

I feel stuck on 8mg Pred (four months) which I take at 09:30 with breakfast now. Either the PMR is well controlled or is in remission - I have no stiffness. Palliative care
First I want to thank Robin Riddle for the link to the post that indicates the stages of PSP. After discussing with my husband, we figured that he was between stages 2 and 3, and one of the recommendations was to put the patient’s name in the Palliative care Registry (which I didn’t know existed) So

Checking in with an update
I see it is 5 months since we last posted. We don't look back or forward with this awful, energy sapping, debilitating disease we just survive. Each day has it own risks and its own delights. Ch is almost bedridden now. He sleeps a lot more. We have help in on Monday (3hr break for me) Friday (a 4hr

Lubion issues
Ok I last injected on Thursday and got a BFN on Friday. However today I have exploded. The swelling is insane, I’ve got stretch marks just from the swelling and feel like I’m on fire. My stomach is rock hard and quite a bit of pain. Currently icing it with ice packs to reduce swelling and pain, and applied

Well here I am again, not quite sure what I’m doing most of the time but still plodding along. Dad has stage 4 cirrhosis and as most of you know comes with a whole host of problems. I feel slightly more at ease this week then I have. He had a fall 2 weeks ago out of bed, spent 41/2 hours waiting for

Second Clinical Trial:
After consulting with our oncologist in Virginia, our former trial study doc, NIH, and Georgetown University, my husband has decided to participate in another clinical trial at Georgetown. This study has two arms, and he will be in the monotherapy only, Part 2 group, if accepted. This part of the study

Reminder from Simone
Hello everyone. Simone also reminded me that I hadn't posted for 4 years. At that time my daughters condition worsened, she couldn't stand, was regularly falling on her head, and became unable to live on her own. Social workers most of whom did not understand the condition Ataxia, and against my pleading
