As in the book of dr peatfield, i have tried adrenal cortex, to which i built tolerance somehow im pretty sure, as well as pregnenolone, which

Treating Low Cortisol
Hi again all, I saw someone mention that ideally one would treat adrenals before thyroid. I took the saliva test a while ago which showed low morning cortisol and OK DHEA. I’ve read in STTM / Dr S Myhill site and on other site and book that a small amount of hydrocortisone can help with this. For

How long should I continue stretching for tightness in my fore skin?
Hey Guys, A great big thank you and a big bear hug and abrazos are in order, especially to: Osidge, Zappa61, Cdg35, amarjeetnegi64, Zz1518, and IP_Nightly. I read all your comments, went to recommended websites where I saw a couple of short videos, and read a couple of very informative articles. I

T3 woes
I am having problems with my T3. I have been on 2.5mcg twice a day for 10 weeks now as any time I try to raise it I have problems. Latest blood test showed TSH still 1.76 (0.35-4.5) T4 14 (12-22) T3 4.4(3.1-6.8) I'm obviously still under medicated so last week I decided I had to try again so I upped

Rash
Does this look like a lupus rash. I’ve had these sorts of flare ups for years now. Suffer with dry eyes, joint pain fatigue etc. dermatologist didn’t know what it was. That was five years ago. I’m still here suffering. With covid not been able to see GP but even when I could I just got given hydrocortisone

Good news - Stage IIIB
Hi all, just wanted to share good news. I have had clear scan results today after being diagnosed with Stage IIIB, non small cell, adenocarcinoma in 2014, aged 43. My prognosis at the time was poor and I was told I was inoperable, terminal and treatable with palliative care. Discussions were around

Steroids - Everything you need to know!
Hi guys A follow on from my ‘inhalers -what to take and when’ post ( https://healthunlocked.com/asthmauk/posts/144713745 ) I thought I’d do a post about steroids today (as I build up to doing the other asthma drugs 😅). Hopefully this will help to alleviate some fears, and give some people some guidance

Newbie. Advice needed
Hi, my mum has recently been diagnosed with Lung cancer. She has a tumour at the top of her right lung and two nodules on the left lung. She is inoperable. She got a biopsy last week and gets the results next week as to what stage it’s at and what the plan will be. The waiting is terrifying, she’s only

Balanitis... or what is this?
For the last year I've been dealing with a balanitis problem, although it doesn't perfectly fit the description. This is totally invisible to the naked eye - no rash, no smegma, no blotches. The foreskin seems to get injured way too easily during sex, it often feels bruised afterwards and then it takes

Hydrocortisone
I have adrenal fatigue. Low low low high. I’m taking hydrocortisone but wondering when I should be taking it as I don’t want to completely shut down my ACTH if that’s possible. Is HC addictive and how long could I be on it or until I can come off of it normally?

Very confused !
I have recently restarted the lchf diet and have been doing a lot of research during the course of which I came across a site called Healthline . In the article I was reading they were discussing why some people don’t lose weight using low - carb diets . Two of the reasons were ‘ eating too many calories
