That plus paddle

Lchf diet acts quick on your ppbs.
Mainly carbs are responsible for surge in sugar spike after food.so no carbs no sugar spikes.so it is easier to manage your ppbs if you are on lchf diet. despite overnight fast there are lots of factors which are responsible for fasting blood sugar not coming to acceptable range that is 100. I think

Has anyone with FH seen any (long term) improvement of their lipids following a LCHF diet?
Just wondering. I know there is a whole movement around saying sugar is bad, and fats are actually good for us. But those studies (and opinions) are based on 'normal' people, not those of us with a genetic inability to clear excess cholesterol out of our system. So I wondered if anyone has improved their

Any tips for babies with eczema?
My poor LO has got red itchy eczema all over her chest, belly, back, neck & shoulders. I went to the GP who prescribed diprobase & hydrocortisone cream. Been using the diprobase 4 times a day but it barely keeps it from getting worse, doesn't seem to bemaking it any better. The hydrocortisone cream worked

Di's labs-Looking for advice. Would love to get some input on these latest labs.
Hi All, Here are my new blood results-I am hoping someone will have a look and help me with any advice. All these labs are done fasting except water, in the morning, no iron for 7 days before, no NDT before the draw. I am Hypothyroid and have been for a year now. I have been on Armour Thyroid since last

Anyone had a quickish response with Rituximab?
I say this as I know it is documented as not being such a fast worker due to the way it is administered. I have done some research as to how one receives it etc (to the disdain of my rheumys!!) but I refuse to go unresearched into such a medication. I saw it documented that it usually takes 50 days

Pituitary op done!
Hi guys. Transphenoidal pituitary op done on 28/1. Phew I survived it! Had cerebral fluid leak during 6 hour op, thigh muscle used to plug leak. Had diabetes insipidous for few days following surgery. Still very bunged up nasally, no taste or smell, but just so grateful to be home. Had a nasty dip

the ends, tops and pads of my toes have been really sore, red inflamed with dry swollen cracked skin, they burn or itch and are agonisingly painful if bashed or knocked. i went to the chemists today as they don't seem to be getting better, she didn't look and just prescribed hydrocortisone, but i just

My beautiful mum♥♡
Hi little update on mum, unfortunately still not too good, althought her oxygen levels are 94, bp fine but she is feeling light headed and sometimes can't even get the bathroom alone. At times she seems confused which is not normal for her, matron came today and asked if i would consider palliative

Know your diabetes.Type2. Part--2
The second type of diabetes is much more common. This occurs in middle-aged people, especially if they are overweight. Because it occurs later in life, this type of diabetes is often called adult-or maturity-onset diabetes. It is also called type-2 diabetes. Type-2 diabetes is quite different from Type

Has anyone tried topical Hydrocortisone cream 1% for adrenal issues / low cortisol?
I am not advocating anyone do this because you really need to know what you are doing - BUT has anyone tried using OTC topical hydrocortisone cream for low adrenal reserves that have not responded to adaptogens? (based on salivary cortisol profile results, not guess work!) I would be very interested

Rice can be part of LCHF?
While cooking rice we put one teaspoon of salt to kill the sugars in the RICE. Can this RICE be part of LCHF diet?
