Still petrified.
Thankyou so very much for the lovely replies. As expected, scan showed increase in size of nodes, so more chemo in 3weeks time. I did notice that the staff on day unit are only wearing masks, no shields, which i was surprised to see, when i was having port flush yesterday. Now i have another dilemma

Recovery time after cervical polyp removal
Hi, I have a hospital appointment to remove a small cervical polyp. If you’ve had this procedure, how long after were you able to do physical activity, such as heavy lifting or walking a strong dog that pulls occasionally? Did the hospital insist that someone accompanied you home after the procedure

Hi My First post here, sorry if I screw up. I had a standard CAPD line inserted and then all training and a Baxter machine to receive APD. But the line never worked very well. The doctors decided that it was because I am so tall (6'2" is not that unusual?) Anyway the faulty line was removed and a

Short of breath again
I was recently in hospital for 5 days, very short of breath on admission. For the last few days, I've been short of breath again. One of our GPs came out to see me at home on Friday, & diagnosed a chest infection & prescribed antibiotics. I'm feeling fed up with being short of breath, feeling discouraged

Hi. Am just wondering whether anyone else has noticed a link between ibs symptoms and sinus pain. For last couple of weeks I have had flare up of an ongoing sinus issue which has been investigated several times and all clear. I am currently also having flare up of other ibs symptoms including burning

Is a sore throat a GCA symptom?
I’m writing this for my mother and apologies in advance for the lengthy explanation. My mother was diagnosed with PMR in November. We think she probably had it for sometime but as my father was receiving full time palliative care at home we were not as aware of her health issues as my dad was so poorly

Side effects of flagyl? Thrush? Help!
Took flagyl for 5 days, experienced/currently experiencing weird bleeding ? Thought it was my period but it’s thin blood (thin in viscosity/light colored but heavy flow) with lots of small clots which isn’t normal for my period. Information about spinal cord compression.
Has anyone experienced a spinal cord compression or fracture? Can you share your experiences. Has anyone experienced what it means to prevent one. We know that getting an MRI to show the urgency of treatment is one thing and then the mention of surgery. We don't know what that means. Who handles this

Hi everyone, it’s been a very long time since I’ve posted anything on this forum. Hope you’re all as well as you can possibly be, if not I hope you feel better soon. I have a question for you all and although it’s through the possible worst pandemic this country has been through, I would like to ask
