Recovery time after cervical polyp removal

Hi, I have a hospital appointment to remove a small cervical polyp. If you’ve had this procedure, how long after were you able to do physical activity, such as heavy lifting or walking a strong dog that pulls occasionally?

Did the hospital insist that someone accompanied you home after the procedure?

Thanks

Hi IvanaT... I had the same operation last year .. polyps and fybroids.I was groggy after the op so we arranged fir my hubby to drive me home do I’d advise you got taken home too. I work in a supermarket ,so heavy lifting is part of the job. I had 3 days off before I returned snd I was fine. You will be too 🙏All the best to you.😘

Thanks for your reply. That's really helpful. I have been given no procedure-specific instructions by the hospital.
