Side effects of flagyl? Thrush? Help!

Took flagyl for 5 days, experienced/currently experiencing weird bleeding ? Thought it was my period but it’s thin blood (thin in viscosity/light colored but heavy flow) with lots of small clots which isn’t normal for my period. Smells like raw meat tbh which is disturbing :/ Also experienced persistent diarrhea during those 5 days. I have 3 pills (1 day and a half) left but I just haven’t taken them and now I’m experiencing intense vaginal itching..? Like bad itching and it gets worse at night. But the diarrhea stopped. Was taking with doxycycline as well if that changes anything and I didn’t take the last 3 pills of that either. Should I just finish my prescriptions and hope for the best or stop and talk to a doctor? Also side note flagyl tastes absolutely disgusting and doxycycline makes me nauseous that’s why I didn’t take the last few but I know I should’ve but I didn’t anyways someone plz help :’(

Ask yr gp or pharmacy for advice but generally you should always finish the course of antibiotics.Thrush is quite common after antibiotics. Get over the counter thrush meds while you are there perhaps?

Why were you taking doxycycline ? Some of your symptoms are well known side effects of metronidazole. Its possible you might have candida after oral broad spectrum antibiotics

The guy I was seeing had given me both gonnorhea and chlamydia and I was also diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis all in the same sitting. So I got a butt shot (cetrifix- something) for the g, doxycycline for the c, and flagyl/metronidazole for the bv. I think it was a yeast infection Bc I took Monistat from Walgreens and now I’m fine I just have red discharge that isn’t blood ? Idk what the heck is going on I just know I’m not burning or itching anymore

You had multiple antibiotics so developing candida would not be surprising. If you continue to have bleeding you should reattend your healthcare provider. I presume you are covered for contraception ?
