Swollen hand
I've had arm lymphoedema following a mastectomy, for 2 years now. It was diagnosed later rather than sooner so had chance to get a good hold, despite my protestations. Once it was diagnosed I was put in touch with a Lymphoedema Nurse Specialist and we've worked together for the past 2 years trying to

Suspected ovarian cancer 3 years after having a bi-lateral mastectomy for 2 different types of breast cancer
in September 2010 i had a bi-lateral mastectomy because i had "invasive lobular carcinoma" in my right breast and "invasive ductal carcinoma" in my left breast... 3 and a half years and 8 reconstructive surgeries later, I am still here and still smiling. During my treatment, i had 2 years of zolendex

Waiting times for treatment of recurrence
I've not posted for a while as there has been so much going on. Completed 3rd line treatment in March but developed cysts. Got these drained in April. Lost my job and then to top it off mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a bilateral mastectomy in august and is now undergoing chemotherapy

I did a cystectomy due to persistend bladder pain and the urologist said they found nothing then reffered me to a gynae witch did cone biops
but the pain is still worse with some mucus n piece of tissue from the urine. What can i do cause antibiotics don't help but make me worse. The cone biopsy was because of cin2 and hpv.

Does your chest and underarm become more stiff due to radiation?
I read tht fibrosis sets in the area where radiation is given. My oncologist has also told me so. I wish to know from those who have finished radiotherapy, what is the present condition. Are you able to use your hand comfortably for the household chores? Since I have had mastectomy, i am worried if I

Hi I have et and am on interferon a. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a right breast Mastectomy and a week later had a tia which is
thought to be caused by my blood becoming sticky during op, cancer was found in the sentel node that was removed but I can't have another op due to it being considered to risky and the only option is radiotherapy but I'm worried how this will react with my medication and about having radiotheapy. has

Suggestions for Exercise?
I am getting so frustrated because I feel that I can't do any exercise. Like others, walking on the flat is usually OK, inclines however are not possible. I have developed both postural hypotension and postural vertigo now which, again makes it difficult to walk even. The nausea is bad with the vertigo

At my wits end...
Help! I don't normally post online although I read other peoples posts but i'm at my wits end. I' ve been feeling so unwell this week, I don't know if its a FMS/CFS flare up or whether I've caught a bug or my IBS is worse than usual but the problem is I live on my own and don't have anyone to help me
