How long does it take to recover form laparoscopic cystectomy?
Hi everyone, had my 2nd lap 3 weeks ago. And still in pain. I have stage 4 endometriosis, I still can't walk properly, feel tired all the time and in pain. I thought I would be better now. How long did it take you to feel better after surgery? Thanks

So confused and feel full of dip air and thinking what is the point
It has been a long two and a half years of wretched right sided pain in my behind and I am struggling still, originally I was refered to dr de mello, I found his manner rather abrasive without examining me he said I definitely had right sided pudendal nerve pain and that he would perform ct guided injections

Has anyone had bladder endometriosis that has actually penetrated the bladder wall and is inside?
I wonder whether anyone on here has been in the same position and whether anyone has ever had a partial bladder
cystectomy
performed successfully? Is it as rare as everyone is making out?

Hi all, I'm a newbie here. Hoping you can help. My Mum has suffered from a thyroid issue for 20+ years, first with hyper and then about 4 years ago had Radio Iodine with subsequent total ablation. She's suffered on and off with issues getting her levels right since (in the meantime she had a mastectomy

My mother had undergone mastectomy 2 months ago but the wound is not healing. Her stitches have come out and she has been advised grafting
Is this the only course available? Why does this happen? Is it because she removed her drain pipe early.

3 days on bisoprolol and no symptoms of PAF!
Am feeling very upbeat as this is as long as I have gone without an episode since the symptoms started 3 months ago. Just a minor blip this afternoon when I felt a bit light-headed and tired for a couple of hours. Otherwise have been my usual self. Have been monitoring my B/P and pulse twice daily as

Should I bin my dysfunctional parents?
I haven't posted on here for quite a while but I read the posts each day. As some of you might remember - a year ago I was in a very dark place and suicidal. I have posted before as to the reasons:- emotionally abusive father who constantly belittled and criticised me especially from my teenage years

Affects of levotyhroxine and anastrozole for breast cancer
Does anyone know if it ok to take levotyhroxine and anastrozole together. I am getting very conflicting advice from my oncologist and GP. I had mastectomy nearly 2 years ago and ended up in hospital during chemo and nurses kept giving me all my tablets together in morning, along with my folic acid tablet

Gall bladder removal . Post surgery
hi, I had keyhole surgery to remove my gall bladder on 13 th march. After surgery I had to stay in hospital as I had a drain. Surgeon said I had gall stones, the gall bladder was infected ( again ). And it had adhered itself to my liver and diaphragm, the liver and diaphragm also have lesions on. Since

Does anyone have regular scans to keep tabs on their endo? Worried about conception.
I only say this as last year i went from everything looking fine to 6 months later being rushed in to emergency surgery for a
cystectomy
that nearly lead to me having to have one of my ovaries out due to the extensive damage.
