My child has OCD
Hello. I landed here because I’m searching for answers as to how to help my children who both are showing signs of OCD and high anxiety. Their father (my ex husband) has ocd and is in medication for it. I only found out about the depth and complexity of his OCD when we were in marriage counseling

Second opinion?
She wanted to prescribe me sleeping pills/anti depressants (I’m not depressed don’t need anything like that) offered me
counselling
, told me if I sleep and exercise I’ll feel better and sent me on my way. I was so shocked.

How to guide my 21yrs old son with a husband who doesn't understand ADHD much
Hello. I am struggling with my adult son who doesn't have a willingness to make his ADD life better. He barely graduated high school but went to college to study music which was his passion (He is a cellist) but the freshman year was not successful. He failed almost all classes besides what he enjoyed

My daughter
I need advice on how to help my daughter who is 19 and has anxiety and panic attacks. Her anxiety is fueled when there is a slight change. She will not ever allow herself to be alone. She has such a fear that it throws herself into a panic attack that causes her to vomit and have diarrhea. This is

<Thanks for your support. Unfortunately I’m not there yet. I’ve lost my life, my looks, my figure and every door to any kind of hopeful future seems to be slamming shut. In the midst of a really bad relapse just now with little or no medical help and I’m really sad to say for the first time in my life

Worrying about worrying
I decided that I need more regular
counselling
, which I will start tomorrow. I really do urge anyone who feels they need to, to go to a doctor, (or go to different doctor if you feel you need a second opinion) or go to the local hospital. There are people there who can and will help you.

When you’re having
counselling
right in the middle of 2 week wait and the counsellor asks you how the pregnancy is going 😤 [not a trained fertility counsellor but has been told how ivf works] ....and then later when you explain it’s the uncertainty that’s getting you down she thinks you mean you are

All my family is in
counselling
, I don't want to be just another person needing help, I've always managed on my own and I will continue to do so, I just needed to say it out loud that I'm really bloody struggling with all this and I'm absolutely petrified and heartbroken watching my dad going through

New parent looking for info/support/answers
We participated in a individual phone in
counselling
parental support program for the last four months. I am getting an SLP assessment. I thought we were on the right track, then summer hit. He was registered in two week long camps.

Stupid question!!
I'm waiting for my period to start so I can ring the clinic to arrange
counselling
appointment but I'm a little confused as what counts as day one. For the first time in the last 12 months I'm late.

ADHD young ‘adulting’ center/workshops??
I’ve been doing my best at parenting my son with ADHD for 19 years. He has dropped out of college and is not working but just started taking his meds again. He has many goals, dreams, and desires and is crazy talented but is really struggling with motivation, basic adulting, tools for coping with frustration

New here and in desperate need of help
. - Earlier in 2018 I was having
counselling
for a mixture of things, not exclusively for this. She also confirmed she thought I had OCD (among other things) Back to now: - I have had an atypical mole on my back for at least the past decade, I remember the first time I found it.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
I’ve been accessing
counselling
since February. Had my 4th session of HBOT and am booking in for acupuncture next week. All the staff are lovely with many volunteers and they really have helped me through a difficult time. Here’s a little info on it that I thought would be of interest.

Nurse planning telephone call. Feeling excited!
Hi all, So we had our
counselling
via skype last monday, which went well. Lots of questions answered. After a slight delay with the nurse getting back to me she rang this afternoon. We discussed our choice to go to Spain for egg donation IVF.

I can’t get moving!!
Yesterday after battling with my husband for about a week, he came over and signed the dissolution papers. I still love him, but haven’t been in love with him in a few years. He is a recovering addict and I don’t know if that’s a contributing factor, but he’s emotionally and verbally abusive. Often
