I'm waiting for my period to start so I can ring the clinic to arrange counselling appointment but I'm a little confused as what counts as day one.
For the first time in the last 12 months I'm late. My cycle averages at between 30 to 35 days in now on day 39 yesterday i had the tiniest amount of brown discharge and today its slightly heavier brown spotting this is normal for me and full flow normally starts later on or tomorrow.
My stupid question is should I phone clinic now or wait until full flow. I just want to get it right.

Definitely full flow. I thought spotting was my a.flo starting so we went over to the clinic 10 days later only for my full flow to start a few days before transfer (delayed cycle) and transfer was delayed had to fly back home and back out again a week later.
I get spotting too and I just phoned when that started and explained was just spotting and full flow was usually after two days after. They gave me an appointment based on that. I just phoned when spotting started to make sure I got an appointment as I'd heard they might be fully booked for the month.
Thanks everyone full flow arrived today so I rang the fertility unit this morning and left message but they haven't rang back so assume they don't work sundays hoping they ring tomorrow as I don't know what the timescales are for when they need to see me to give me meds xx
