Cortisone injections for sports injury
I am a keen sports woman and at present need a
cortisone
injection to help heal a hip injury. Is it safe to do so? I am getting no help or information from my dr at present and am getting more frustrated at not being able to take part in sports which even with itp is a huge part of my life.

Urgent - Help me understand the role of hydrocortisone during thyrotoxicosis
If the body needs
cortisone
to convert T4 to T3, then why does administering hydrocortisone during thyroid storm inhibit peripheral conversion of T4 to T3? Page 678 indicates that
cortisone
is used to treat thyrotoxicosis, for this reason.

Is there a link between dry eyes and b12 deficiency? If not, has anyone else had any atypical symptoms related to low b12?
After a year of having low b12 I have finally been given permission to get b12 injections! They start in about a week and now more than ever I have been thinking about the effect they will have on me. In case anyone is interested my b12 results have been: 163 (150-1000) 148 (150-1000) 223 (180-900) and

How do you make this decision?
But suspect with the return of pain in my back/hips/buttocks that has been unresponsive to
cortisone
injections, that the return of my endometriosis of the uterosacral ligaments and cul-de-sac, or as you say in the UK the pouch of douglas has returned venomously for the 5th time.

Less pain in the morning
Been sent for a lot of xrays ect. tried
cortisone
injection of the SI joint and the bursae in both hips it didn't help. I can't help but believe it's something of a gynocological nature, especially since they detected bilateral ovarian cysts on my mri.

right lower hip/back side pain
I had a
cortisone
shot and that did not help me. I went to an orthopedic specialist and he told me to exercise and help build the muscles back that were weak in that area. I have been stretching and exercising and it helps some, but I still stay in pain.

My chiro did say "if they're paying you half a million to compete then maybe we can do a

Red spots on penis HELP!
Ive been using
cortisone
cream and they seem to be getting better. I'll go see a doctor Friday but let me know if you have any advice, I'm avoiding a potential relationship because of this. Last time it lasted for awhile..... but seemed to disappear once I quit using so much lotion.
