Hi, Please help. I have been advised to take 2.5 Predisone due to low cortisol and ACTH levels. Is it safe to take these at the same time as levothyroxine and antidepresents? ..........I am a bit uncertain as to the long term effect of taking Predisone.........? Ollybear

Advice on cortisol results
I had a blood test serum cortisol results came back as normal. I had the test done at 11 am results were 202nmol/L , no ranges given. I don't understand hardly anything about cortisol and was wondering was this a bit low. I'm at doctors on thursday and was wondering if u guys thought they were on the

shoulder pain persists after ablation
Had
cortisone
shot in shoulder which gave short term 2-3 day relief. Now will begin physical therapy to try to improve shoulder pain which is severe enough that it is difficult to sleep at night.

Pregnenolone, Anyone taking it for Adrenal Fatigue instead of Cortisol?

Hi everyone could someone help with a few results that say speak to doctor, anyone have an idea as to what is going on. Thanks Total white blood count 11.2 10*9/L ranges 4.00 -11.0010*9/L........TSH 0.29 mu/L ranges 0.35-5.00mu/L......... serum c reactive protein level 13mg/L range <5.00mg/L.....

Just worried that when I finish the
cortisone
the pain will be back again. My doctor told me that Gabapentin had the least side effects. Just curious as to what others think. I am so over this it started in early August.

Serum cortisol blood test results?? I got my blood results for cortisol, bloods taken at 09.00, the result is highlighted with * 31 Then 200-700, does anyone understand this as Im having trouble finding any info on this. Many thanks

I've recently undertaken a private saliva cortisol rest (24 hour test) and need help understanding the results please Results are: Sample 1 (post awakening) - 15.6 (range 12-22) Sample 2 (+4-5 hrs) - 5.4 (5.0-9.0) Sample 3 (+4-5 hrs) - 4.3 (3.0-7.0) Sample 4 (prior to sleep) - 0.5 (1.0-3.0) - outside

Proof of trauma's effects. low cortisol.

Hi all I have got a big question that I really need an answer to. Around a months ago I gave a private saliva cortisol test, the results show a very low levels. Today I received my nhs cortisol test which according to my doctor shows a perfectly reasonable level. Serum cortisol level 544nmol/l. 171.00
