combined pill bleeding
I’m on the combined pill, I’ve been on it for 4 months now and my doctor told me I can take it for 6 months straight with no break and then at the end of those 6 months take a 7 day break and then back to it like normal, I’m just into the 4th month and I’ve non stop bled for 2 weeks and am starting to

support in raising concerns with GP
I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, PCOS and a fibroid. I have an appointment with my GP to discuss my heavy periods, pain and new symptoms that have begun to develop. My periods are frequent, being on for two weeks and then off for a week before another two weeks of being on again. I am exhausted

FSH going from 8 to 43 just in few weeks while preparing for a FET, is it temporary or menopause?
Hi Ladies Can anyone help put a light to my issue of FSH going from 8 to 43 just in 2-3 weeks while I was doing tests before a frozen transfer. I am devastated as I cannot find a logic to this. Background I am preparing for a FET cycle but my hormons all of a sudden messed up besides my thin lining

First gynaecology appointment
Hi everyone. I finally had my first gynae appointment the other day. Been waiting for it since December. I took the advice of everyone on here and wrote down all my symptoms and a timeline of everything that I've experienced for the last couple years. This was especially important for me because I have

alternating amount of meds question
Is anyone else doing the things where they take extra medication 2 days a week. I'm on 120 armour and I'm splitting a pill between two days.. The days I have the extra I feel like I'm too energetic let's say and the days when I don't I'm kind of tired.. Should I split the pill between 4 days? The problem

Found out coils are sometimes replaced after 4 yrs instead of 5, when used for managing endo symptoms!
It's amazing that at 37 I'm still finding out about these different options and ways of being treated. Thought I'd share this here for anyone this might help! I've had my coil for 4 years and am starting to get this sense of a cycle reappearing. Getting fatigue and PMS like you wouldn't believe on a

Untreated hypothyroid and early pregnancy
I hope someone of here can offer some advice, or at least reassure me I’m not being a crazy/hysterical woman! I had blood tests at the start of July to try and diagnose the reason why my periods had disappeared for 7months. The Thyroid tests came back as: TSH 5.23mlU/L (0.270-4.2), FT4 11.9pmol/L (12

pre lap care (long post)
I haven’t had my endometriosis confirmed by lap yet, I’m awaiting mri and I’m on a 2 year wait list for laparoscopy surgery after 8 nearly 9 years of waiting to be somewhat listened to- I had my first gynae app on the 16th and was told I could use contraceptive to help the affects until my lap (in 2

Iron and magnesium levels plus
Hi everyone. I recently had blood tests done as suggested and results have come back showing slightly low magnesium level at 0.68mmol/L and serum ferritin level of 60ng/ml. (Low?) I've been asked to go back for retest on the magnesium but no mention of the iron? Looking back on my test results I had

No bleed after -ve test
I have just had a BFN after 3rd transfer. With the first 2 I bled before the test so I knew the outcome. This time I still haven’t bled. Could it be the oestrogen or progesterone? I am on the same dose as I was with my first 2 cycles. I also had depo injection all 3 cycles. Only difference this time

Coming off the pill - any tips for dealing with endo?
Hi everyone, I've been on the pill for years now and in recent years I've had nothing but trouble with it. Constant mouth ulcers that make it near impossible to eat healthy foods because they sting my mouth, chronic insomnia with the hormone changes and weight gain. Anyway, I work from home and have

Hi everyone, Late yesterday morning I had a surprise phone call from my preferred Pharmacy down here at the pointy end of Cornwall. Boots. Well, a surprise for me. So I thought I'd just share this with you all although it really only has relevance to those of you in Britain. Following discussions

Irregular cycles
I came off the contraceptive pill last November to try for our first baby and since have only had 5 periods with varying length between them (50 days, 56 days, 42 days, 40 days, 39 days) ….. after my last period in June (25th) I decided to try the clear blue advanced digital ovulation tests as I thought
