Recent Diagnosis - What are my options?
Hi, I have recently received a diagnosis of "suspected endometriosis" by my GP and am in the process of figuring everything out. I'm currently 31 and had been on the combined pill since I was 18. I got fed up with how the pills made me feel so I decided to go hormone free and got the copper coil

Wearing a mask!
My wife has cll diagnosed in June of 2012. She is currently on Venclexta. My question I am sure has been discussed before. She goes in frequently for some infusions but mostly just taking the pill. The question is that none of the medical support staff wear masks. We always do for almost every indoor

Prostap sr and periods
HiI'm 6 weeks post op after having large endometrioma cyst removed, right ovary removed and right fallopian tube removed. During surgery they also found a fibroid which too was removed. My CA125 has now returned to normal at 21, it was 141 prior to surgery. My consultant has started me on a treatment

Endo regrowth after failed IVF
Hi all, I don’t know if anyone has any help or advice on this but I thought I’d ask. Has anyone gone through multiple rounds of IVF and found that their endo has started to worsen after laparoscopic removal? I’ve had 3 failed rounds of PGD IVF (medicated both long and short protocols) and had my laparoscopy

sensitive - surgery, infertility, mentions other people’s pregnancy
My husband and I have been desperate for a baby for 8 years, however, I, unfortunately, have not had a period for 13 years, three of which I was on contraception. It just never came back. Shortly after coming off of contraception, I was diagnosed with PCOS. By this time I was 18 and had not long met

Life journeys and what I have learned
I have been thinking about closing my profile here for a long time now, and I think it is finally time. I wanted to make a last post though, as a closure for me and hoping it might help someone. My journey to try to get pregnant started 7.5 years ago. My son was born in Dec 19. It wasn't the longest

Can you reject GNRH analogues? Consequences? Please help.
Hi there, I'm going in for my second Endo surgery next week, 9cm endometrioma, and the MRI showed a few other lesions. My last surgery was 6 years ago, and they removed a 16m endometrioma. The surgeon called last week in response to some questions I had and made an offhand remark about having a shot

a possible way out
i have been taking birth control for at least 8 years lately i have read that my anxiety can get worse when i have been on this medication for many years. Anyone in this group who has knowledge of this topic or if anyone has gone through the same thing. would be a great option to improve my crises

Why do some AN grow quickly over a short period of time, could stress or hormones play a part?
My tumour has doubled in size in 10 months and the consultant said that it was unusual. He mentioned pregnancy, and hormones. Im 48, not pregnant, but i am on the contaceptive injection called depo provera, but considering ive been taking this birth control for 10 years, the consultant didn't seem to

period dilemma
I came off the pill in April & since then I have been having very irregular periods, which was expected, some bleeding 3x a month, some bleeding twice a month. I finished my last period on Friday last week & today (Saturday) the following week, have started again. But with excruciating cramps, but light

What do I tell my doctor?😢
Hi everyone! I am 3 months post op, and have been on the pill back to back since my first period after op. I still have periods and this is my third. This period I couldn't fight anymore, and I went to the ER where they did an intravaginal ultrasound and found a cyst. I bled for 5 days, stopped,

Hello Everybody, First time posting here! Just for background, my partner and I have been trying to concieve for 1 year and half - I initially had no period after stopping the pill and now my cycles are very long with short luteal phase. My partner also did a semen analysis which came back with low morphology

Prostap injections and bleeding
hello everyone, I’m having a bit of a tough time at the moment, I started prostap injections last year in may without HRT until December, and up until present day having the injection every three months with my daily tibilone tablet. The thing is when I started everything was fine no pain, no bleeding

How long to try out a new drug
I have a lot of trouble tolerating drugs and I blame myself for not trying things longer to see if the side effects lessen. I read these things about how successful someone was after four months with terrible side effects. So the new drug I want to stop is clonodine. This is the second time I have

Hi all , I’m just looking for some advice . I just don’t know what possibilities are open to me . Long story short I am 35 nearly 36 and have suffered from Endo since about 17 and was disagnosed at around 22 . I have had around 3 laps now and my most recent surgeries were 2020- Lap and excision by Endo

Baseline Scan query..
Hi all 🤗. Hope everyone is doing ok? Starting a new last attempt at OE ivf cycle next week, following a little break after lots of 'failures'. Heading back to the clinic I started at a few years back, but my treatment plan involves a baseline phone call, rather than a scan. Presume to check I've had
