No bleed after -ve test

I have just had a BFN after 3rd transfer. With the first 2 I bled before the test so I knew the outcome. This time I still haven’t bled. Could it be the oestrogen or progesterone? I am on the same dose as I was with my first 2 cycles. I also had depo injection all 3 cycles. Only difference this time is my period was regulated with a month on the pill.

Hello,

It can be progesterone. I started bleeding one week later after my second bfn.

It just seems to be one thing after another. Can’t even be positive about no bleed 😓

You will be ok. I know you are upset, I was also I have never had positive test . I have decided to do pgta test, results I will find out tomorrow and endometrial scratch on September and I hope it's gonna work, has to. You have got this. If not this time that's ok you will try one more time because you are not giving up.

I’m using donated embryos. My clinic have tried fresh with drug IVF, frozen with natural IVF, frozen with drug IVF. Never mentioned endo scratch or embryo glue. My next consultation is the end of August.

Hi sorry you've had a bfn, it can take a week or two after stopping meds for your period to come so try not to worry. The progesterone is ment to stop you bleeding if you bled on previous transfers before you OTD and stopping meds it might be worth asking your clinc to test your progesterone levels for future transfers or to just up the dosage of progesterone you take. My clinic doubleed the amount of progesterone for my last cycle as I had bled before OTD on previous cycles, I also had an endometrial scratch and was put on blood thinners the idea of scratch and blood thinners is to increase blood flow to the womb. There is zero evidence embro glue helps so a lot if clinics don't offer it as they see it as an unnecessary expense this might be why your clinic haven't mentioned it. Below is a link to hefa website where you can read about IVF add ons so you know what to ask for at your consultation. Good luck x

I always have a progesterone test the day before transfer. I am sure I’m only on the same dose as usual. Hopefully then my body is starting to do as it’s told? Apart from taking on the embryo 😓

I’ll ask about the scratch at my consultation. And I’ll have a read on the link Thankyou x
