You will need thyroid levels retested 6-8 weeks after latest dose change in levothyroxine
Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
Have you got your vitamin levels tested yet
Low vitamin levels can cause symptoms and it’s important to have optimal vitamin levels for levothyroxine to work well
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Also worth trying gluten free diet
I suffer from pms as well, I normally take a pms supplement. Maybe try that
You could try Agnus castus and/or Vitamin B6 in the "correct" active form ie P5P rather than pyridoxine hydrochloride. There appears to be some genuine scientific evidence that these may work; I guess you can only give it a go and see.
Also, the better controlled your hypothyroidism is, the less PMS you should have as there appears to be an association between the two.
Finally, if you don't already do so, keep a note of your dates, so that you can be mentally prepared for your PMS days - just knowing that your hormones are to blame might possibly help with any psychological symptoms - a bit - and don't make any big decisions during those days in case your judgments's temporarily gone askew!
Best of luck; I hope you get some relief from your symptoms.
I have been helped by Dr Ray Peat's advice in his book, PMS to Menopause. I use the product he recommends called "Progest-E", three drops on gums according to cycle. So, I stop the progesterone for 6 or 7 days each month.
Peat doesn't recommend anti-depressants or contraception, so you might find his advice congenial. He has a website under his name.
